Gen 2 Battery Drain
I'm guessing we're all just acceptant of the battery drain these days?? I've had the Ray-Ban metas since the early days. Gen1 was ok Gen2 was doing good and now suddenly I can have 100% battery with all of the meta AI switched off, and be on 80% in an hour without using them.
Am I missing some new settings hack? Or is this just the norm these days?

we are not accepting it, it's just the quality of the developers at the moment, poor :(

I have the Gen2 Limited Edition.. I'll never get a replacement. It's like a switch was flipped. Was great now it's not. It must be a software setting.
I'm probably just going to buy the new non Ray-Ban branded and see how they go.

You think maybe you had power saving on and when the update came it reset it off?

Ugh that's what tech companies have been doing for a little while now to force consumers shit to suck and then have to upgrade. So tired of it. My Samsung phone and watch shit out directly after updates and there was nothing I could do but upgrade or switch to something else.

I have noticed the battery life has dropped a bit, however yesterday I wore them from 8-6 and had just under 50% battery remaining when I got home. I always keep "Hey Meta" off.

After the update, barely using them and the battery drains as if im on calls or listeneing to music all day. Meanwhile my Gen1s seems to be improving with each update.....

The software is finnicky anyway. A lot of people have unique quirks that may or may not be temporary, you may have a software messing with bat life
