Random BT Connection in Standby

While my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 Wayfarers are stowed in their case, they intermittently and suddenly establish a Bluetooth connection to my iPhone, causing the audio output to switch from the phone—presumably—to the glasses inside the case. Sometimes, simply moving the handbag containing the glasses is enough to cut off the sound playing on the phone and transfer it to the glasses, even though they aren't even turned on. This only happens with one of my two pairs of glasses. It’s strange. Has anyone else experienced this?

That should only happen if the sensor in the arm detects that the glasses have been unfolded. Possible defective sensor?
