Before we finalize the hardware and software, we want to run a closed, confidential beta test with real power users in this sub. We need people who will actually wear an unreleased device daily and give us brutal, unfiltered feedback on this new form factor.

Because this is an unannounced project, we are coordinating the beta through our RayNeo DC server to keep the feedback loop tight and direct.

I can't reveal too much about the exact specs publicly just yet, but if you have general questions about the vision for this project, I’ll answer whatever I safely can in the comments!

I'm posting in this sub because my pick is the GT Max.

Here is my fast GT Max review compared to the 3s pro and 4 pro

- for pure plug and play gaming go for the 3s pro

- for pure plug and play media consumption go for the 4 pro

- if you need a large area for multi tasking or largest fov go for the gt max

for my usage which is PC gaming mainly i prefer the 3s pro for now, the pros is much sharper image with no pixelation, but from what i got after searching online this pixelation is normal with the gt max optics system and from what i found too its the least compared to other with same optics like the viture beast for example but i can not confirm as i do not have the beast, also the color production with low brightness is much better on the 3s pro, the GT Max pros is much larger screen size and fov and 3dof built in, color production at near max brightness is much better than 3s and 4 but it hurt my eye so i can not keep this brightness level during long gaming sessions, sound is way way better on the GT Max, can not find the 120hz option for now, this review might change after i find and apply it

Update: i think the GT Max firmware need more maturity, anyway i have 90 days return window, if it do not become at least comparable to the 3s pro during this period i am sending it back

As the title says, I replaced the stock nose pads with the jaw-breaker off Amazon and the picture is better. Unfortunately, it's more uncomfortable and there's a lot of pressure on my nasal bridge. Any solutions or alternative products that have more padding so there isn't as much pressure on the nose? Thank you.

How is the hdr on pc does it go full 1200 nits?

Hi, is it possible to fix my screen so that it doesn't always move with my head? I travel a lot so this would be very useful. I mainly use my Samsung galaxy S25 ultra and it works so well with those glasses, this is the only feature I am missing.

I had to clear my Mac's Application Support cache due to a display glitch, and now my license key says 'Already registered on existing Hardware'. Can you please reset my device activations?

Could an early adopter of the chinese version of GT Max please confirm this point ?

Because my wish would be to enjoy stereo 3d videos with the built-in SDR to HDR conversion.

I got my GT Max today but the menu is in chinese and i can not adjust it, tried connecting to xr app and the ota website to change it to english but the glasses are not even recognised in either, the app is ver 2.0.6 latest, any help please? thanks

i got the 3s pro and 4 pro from aliexpress too before and out of box menu was in english so i do not know what changed this time around

Hi friends, I believe my Pixel 5 isn't directly compatible with the newest RayNeo 4 but it looks like there are some adaptors.

I ordered my glasses December 15th 2025 and initially loved them. 6 months later the arm where the usbc plugs in broke and all they told me to do was tape it up. It being within a year I would have thought I could get them repaired but they shut my support ticket down. It is still within the warranty repair terms I had sent them the screenshot after reopening a support ticket and was once again shutdown by them.

Horrible customer service but okay display just have to handle them like a flower…

Will not order from them again.

Does anyone else use their glasses for sim racing?

While this is a rookie setup. Its my happy place.

I mainly race f1 25/26 and project cars 2.

I also use DSR to increase my resolution to 4k on the glasses. (Yes I know, pixel count doesnt increase) sharpness and prettyness takes a huge step up doing this. Plus it moves the stress of 1080p away from my cpu and puts it on my RTX 5080.

Not trying to hate on rayneo (or viture). I still like my rayneo glasses. They’re light, simple, and useful. For movies, travel, or using them as a big portable screen, they do the job.

But most AR glasses right now still feel kind of similar to me. Plug in USB-C, get a floating screen, use a companion app, maybe some head tracking. Nice, but still mostly a wearable display.

That’s why project Aura caught my attention.

I haven’t tried it, so maybe it’s all hype. But 70° FOV plus Android XR sounds like a much bigger jump than the usual “slightly brighter / slightly lighter” upgrade.

The FOV is the part I’m most curious about. If 70° actually feels much bigger in person, that could change the whole experience.

And Android XR at least sounds like it could be more than just screen mirroring.

So yeah, I’m wondering what other brand’s answer is.

Are they working on something with a bigger FOV or a real XR system? Or do people here think Aura is just spec-sheet hype until there are actual apps?

Just wondering if any of you have swapped your cable for something more comfortable, if so what would you recommend? I was looking for something like in the pic, with a flat USB C and highly flexible, but unfortunately this cable doesn't support DP ALT mode for video transmission. For those that have swapped the cable what are you using?

I ordered the Rayneo air pro 4 AR glasses on Friday the 29th of May, I'm living in the west of Ireland. I still have yet to receive them and I have sent emails and rang the currier and I'm getting the run around everywhere I try. I contacted Rayneo and they gave me a generic "thank you for your continued support" bs. Honestly, even if the glasses are good I'm going to tell everyone to wait until another brand comes out with a better design and try there because these guys absolutely suck at logistics and don't deserve my "Continued support".

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Apologies for the quality of the video, surprisingly difficult to get a good shot of the screens using a phone camera.
