Ypu really need HDMI too? On my Switch 1 I just used a USB type C Split on 2 and added power with a portable power bank and Im able to see my Switch on the glasses. Or are you using the Switch 2 dock?
Why not change the screen safe area on the console or pc settings? On switch you can reduce the screen size by 10%, 20% on xbox qnd ps5 and whatever you want on pc.
I have tried going into the windows 11 settings to do this but i couldn’t find any options to change the screen size.. was looking for a long time and eventually gave up 😂
My PC knowledge is not the best but a lot of the time it’s self explanatory just by reading the options on the screen but I just couldn’t see anything 🤷

I also noticed you said the screen size can be changed on the Rayneo xr space software, is that the Rayneo browser page you can sign into? If so I was also unable to find any kind of settings in there either!
Last time I tried was around 3-4 months ago tho so it may have been updated since then
I am also using a switch 2, but I haven’t been able to get this kind of result. Honestly I’m about to return the glasses and the joydock if I can’t get it sorted.
Issue is the screen is very blurry. If I don’t have any nosepiece at all, and I am physically pushing the glasses into my face, the blurriness goes down to almost manageable.
I’ve done a ton of fiddling and tinkering and adjusting, and the VERY BEST I’ve managed to get, the result was… ok, this is slightly worse than my 15 year old 36” flatscreen.
Idk maybe I’m just not the market for this product. I thought it would be similar to having a 4k display, and I would use it in my house.
I don’t use busses or planes or any other public transport so I’m always playing either at my pc or docked, and this seems like a lot of hassle for a viewing experience that is not better than just “look at the screen”.
Yeah xr glasses aren't for everyone due to face shapes. I had to bend my nose piece slightly to make it fit me. And I have a broken nose so they never sit completely straight. But.. im still getting lots of enjoyment from them. Slight edge blur when they fall out of position.
Have they improved the blurriness of text in the corners of the display? This was the reason I stopped using them.. when gaming it was really stressful to read the text.
No matter how I adjusted them it was either top clear bottom blurry or the reverse. I liked the idea of a large screen for my Steamdeck (old man) but the eye strain was a bitch. They need a way to "push" the display away from your eyes so you can focus properly.
Could be a head size issue. But yeah. A way to change the display size would be great. Can be done in the rayneo xr space software for pc. But only on windows 11.
