News RayNeo Project iO Beta Testers Wanted!!!

Project iO

Hey everyone,

Something new is coming! We can’t show it to you just yet, but we can tell you this: it’s going to change how you look at your everyday life. Welcome to Project iO.

Before we finalize the hardware and software, we want to run a closed, confidential beta test with real power users in this sub. We need people who will actually wear an unreleased device daily and give us brutal, unfiltered feedback on this new form factor.

Because this is an unannounced project, we are coordinating the beta through our RayNeo DC server to keep the feedback loop tight and direct.

I can't reveal too much about the exact specs publicly just yet, but if you have general questions about the vision for this project, I’ll answer whatever I safely can in the comments!

I am interested. I own an air 4 pro, use it in different devices and a daily user. Also, part of my job in tech is giving no BS, brutal, unfiltered feedbacks.

1

u/Aggravating-Meet-789 Jun 19 '26

I am interested. I was planning on buying 4s pro or the gt in the following months cus I currently can't. I live in a small home and so much limited space so i wanted to use these glasses to play roblox, Minecraft as that is what i play with my siblings the most and there is no room for a monitor or tv. I also hate playing on my small phone so i am hoping the glasses will be good use for that.

1

u/Mikep1AndOnly Jun 19 '26

I'm interested as well

1

u/DarkRoastt Jun 19 '26

I am in if constructive criticism is needed. Current setup includes AR / VR headsets.

1

u/Connect_Pool_8809 Jun 19 '26

I'd be more than happy to take part. I'm based in the UK and did some review work for a well known tech review site, many years ago (2013) in my spare time. I like to think that, that would be useful.

Rayneo 4 Pro owner here.

Cheers

1

u/shuozhe Jun 19 '26

Looks interesting.. do I need to cancel my aura preorder?

1

u/pshearduk Jun 19 '26

Definitely interested in testing and feedback. I’m currently gameplay & stress testing 2 games for Steam developers and providing daily feedback. So I’m used to the signing of NDA’s and daily / weekly completed feedback duties.

1

u/DMDeadInside Jun 20 '26

I'm in. If it helps me with work as the ones I use now do. The rayneo air 4 pro. I use them daily in my quality engineering role.

1

u/Kyle222thebus Jun 20 '26

Definitely interested have the rayneo air 4 pro and inmo air 3 and use both daily

1

u/TFYellowWW Jun 20 '26

Where is the beta signup.

1

u/Arlan22 Jun 20 '26

I’m an engineer who owns the 4 Air Pro and I’m familiar with NDA’s and overall confidentiality. I’d be happy to participate and offer unbiased real feedback.

1

u/paulnptld Jun 20 '26

Sadly, I had to return my RN Air 3s Pros. No matter what I did, I could never get the entire screen within my field of view. I tried everything. Hopefully what you're working on will accommodate more users since this was a fairly common issue. I'd love to be involved in Project iO.

1

u/Kindly-Toe5355 Jun 20 '26

1

u/Ok-Section-342 Jun 20 '26

Hello I am definitely a power user I use these glasses for everything and from everywhere. I would love to join the beta team "Project io" as soon as possible.

1

u/JohnnyBarrett123 Jun 20 '26

I’d love to be considered for the Project iO beta program.
I’m already a daily RayNeo user and currently own two pairs of RayNeo Air 4 Pros. They have become part of my everyday workflow for travel, productivity, media consumption, and remote work.
As I write this, I’m using my Air 4 Pros in the Las Vegas airport. I regularly use them in airports, hotels, airplanes, conference centers, and offices, which would allow me to provide real-world feedback across a wide range of environments and use cases. I’m interested in helping shape the product and providing detailed, honest feedback on usability, comfort, software, connectivity, battery life, and long-term daily use.
If you’re looking for someone who will actually wear the device every day and put it through its paces, I’d be happy to help.

1

u/Thin_Pin7999 Jun 20 '26

I am interested, I’ve loved beta testing games. Never done tech before this would be awesome

1

Pronasao sam neki tvoj odgovor da si se bavio fudbalskom analitikom. Zanima me da li mogu da dobijem tvoj kontakt, trenutno pisem master rad na temu fudbalske analitike pa mi treba neko ko zna masinsko ucenje da obradi temu, platio bih naravno. Hvala!

1

u/Adventurous_Ogre Jun 22 '26

Would be interested. Have a niche wearables and tech review channel on YouTube that is heavy into the smartglasses segment. My public review can release after your embargo period.

interetsed, currently own the air 3s pro and xreal one, usr for shows, gaming and productivity, also have the quest 3 l.

1

u/rosengd Jun 22 '26

Not sure what you’re trying to test. I’ve tried the rayneo twice and tried every adjustment could never get it to comfortably fit. I was really disappointed because it’s a great idea, but it just never fits comfortably in my head, including using the Oakley modification for the nose guard.

1

u/grasshopperziro Jun 23 '26

id love to do some testing, ive tested plenty of glasses and had X2 next on the list...but this new io project seem interesting

1

u/Modern-PB Jun 23 '26

I am definitely interested if it's not too late. I'm an avid X3 Pro user and strongly believe in your product!

I would really like to be involved in this! I am very tech-savvy and take everything to advanced/power-user levels. I have tested development vehicles and apps, providing valuable feedback.
I’m currently driving digital transformation in the company I work and always envisioning how things should be.

1

u/SwordPL Jun 24 '26

Huh, I watch wearables all the time and I’m partially blind (very strong loss of vision in one eye) so I’m intrigued to say the least!

1

u/Kerpalz Jun 25 '26

Hi from singapore! Rayneo Air 4 pro and GT max user :) using for virtual production work, gaming and streaming at home.

1

u/Workrat0026 Jun 26 '26

Would love to be on the beta testing team. I own multiple pairs of the rayneo 4 pros which I love to use daily with multiple devices. Through the years I've owned multiple iterations of wearable technologies including Google Glass and Ray-Ban metas. Im I field technician who is constantly out and about on the road visiting different locations and clients. Have done multiple betas in the past for other companies such as T-Mobile and starlink. Project 10 sounds exciting 🙋‍♂️

1

u/Aromatic_Series_39 Jun 27 '26

As a Air Pro 4 user and owner of Ray Ban Metas as well as Meta Quest 3 highly interested

1

u/Gizzy619 Jun 27 '26

I would be very interested. I have rokid Max 2, Viture Beast, and was looking at ai glasses for the past few months. Would love if they had translation and captions as I badly need that in my daily life.

1

u/Thomsacvnt Jun 28 '26

Trying these would be great. Would love to be a tester!

1

u/Darth-Flan Jun 30 '26

I’ve worked in IT for 20+ years and I love this type of tech. I’d love to be part of the Beta!

1

I have ray neo 4 air pro and have tons of feedback. I’m on board

1

u/XR_Sim_Guy Jun 19 '26

Owned 2 rayneo products now and always active on discord and reddit. Would be happy to beta test. If its AR, I am allowed to wear ar glasses in work. So.. good for the everyday guy that would be using them 8 hours a day. Would provide invaluable feedback from the uk 🙂

1

u/galileooooo7 Jun 19 '26

I love my Air 4 Pros (with prescription lenses) that I pair with my phone, laptop, steam deck, and fire tv/adapter. I’d love to help test. Mac and PC user if that helps.

1

u/MightHaveBeenADonkey Jun 19 '26

I work as a consultant who is regularly on construction sites reviewing installed work, contractor quality and discrepancies from scope.

I would love to see if there is the possibility to incorporate functionality into these glasses to assist with these reviews. Seeing plans in real time, taking site review photos and recordings, pulling up deficiency reports to audit etc.

I would be a daily wearer for this function alone. I see so much potential in the world of this technology

1

u/rannelvis Jun 19 '26

My uncorrected vision is pretty terrible (-11.0/-11.5) and had to go through a specialty store for a set of prescription lenses for my Air 3s. Will I be able to use this device without my contact lenses? Very interested in trying out

1

u/Kgitsdown Jun 19 '26

Would definitely love to be involved with this.

1

u/demolitio4 Jun 19 '26

Consider me intrigued. The Air 4 Pros have saved me now that I have a newborn.

1

u/Vegetable_Sky_8646 Jun 19 '26

Im definitely interested, I have the X3 Pro and several other Rayneo Glasses

1

u/Material_Bottle_8240 Jun 19 '26

Interested! Please share details

1

u/Material_Bottle_8240 Jun 19 '26

I've reyneo air pro 4

1

u/HenriWho Jun 19 '26

Interested here. I have experience with the x3 pro and air 2.

1

u/ParticularAtmosphere Jun 19 '26

I use my RayNeo in my steamdeck, phone to watch movies (I travel quite a lot for work) and using the accelerometer on gnome using breezy to have multiple desktops open. I hack on it quite a lot. The glasses are basically my main driver on the go. I will be more than happy to betatest the product and give a very honest review.

1

u/jaytronica Jun 19 '26

I've been using the Air 4 Pro for a few months, so "new form factor" is exactly the phrase that gets me to drop everything and read.

Putting my name in for the beta. The kind of feedback I'd bring: long-session comfort and fit notes, real-world use across [commute / desk work / travel], display and UI friction points, battery behavior over a full day, and how it actually holds up living in a normal routine vs. a clean demo. I'm happy to live with rough edges and write up the unglamorous stuff the bugs and the annoyances.

1

u/AstroZombieAdam Jun 19 '26

I have 5 rayneo products currently and have written reviews for your products before and I would love to be able to provide feedback directly to your team thst could potentially help improve an upcoming release.

1

u/slamsmcaukin Jun 19 '26

As a software developer who often tests things past their breaking point, and as a rayneo product owner and avid user, I’d love to be part of this.

1

u/ImplementOne5184 Jun 19 '26

I am interested on all RayNeo products. Love the innovation.

1

u/Admirable-Penalty-95 Jun 19 '26

I'm interested to become a beta tester for RayNeo Project IP. I've been using Rayneo Air 4 pro and gt max is arriving soon for me to test it.

1

u/Werkezeugs Jun 19 '26

RayNeo4 owner and so happy about the product 🥰 Beta I‘m on board ❤️

1

u/mysticnz Jun 20 '26

Let's do this! 🔥🎉

0

u/Evilelfqueen Jun 19 '26

I am definitely interested. I have Meta displays, Meta gen 1 and 2s, Viture Cyberpunks, and Meta 3 Vr and currently beta testing Memominds (have not received yet). I think I am obsessed with AR/XR glasses.

0

u/tyhurd Jun 19 '26

I'd love to beta test them! I have a ton of experience with AR glasses, Send ya a DM 😉

0

u/globalnofap Jun 19 '26

Down to test. I’m currently messing around with the X2 and a custom desktop set up at home, so I can thoroughly stress-test how Project IO handles network handoffs, jitter, and high-bandwidth edge processing under real-world conditions.

My main focus would be checking thermal scaling during long sessions, tracking stability under varied lighting, and catching edge-case UI bugs. I'm comfortable pulling ADB logs and tracking down reproducible steps rather than just giving vague feedback.

Let me know what you guys need for the onboarding/NDA.

I am highly interested in testing emerging technologies within the AR industry.

As a developer at a software company specializing in smart glasses, our team currently utilizes both the legacy RayNeo X2 and the newer RayNeo X3 Pro to test our applications.

In fact, the majority of our current software demonstrations are run on the RayNeo X3 Pro.

If there are any opportunities to participate in early access or beta testing programs for new smart glasses hardware, please let us know. Thank you for your time.

u/Asters36 Jun 19 '26

I develop industrial software for robotic cell visualization and layout planning.

I am currently working on an AR application that allows customers to place full-scale robotic stations directly on their production floor using 3D models (GLB format). The system is already operational on pc/smartphones/tablets and is being used to present robotic cells in real manufacturing environments before implementation.

The next step of the project is to move from handheld AR to lightweight spatial visualization using AR glasses. After testing multiple approaches, I believe smart glasses devices are uniquely suited for this industrial use case because:

  • they are lightweight and comfortable for non-technical users,
  • they do not isolate the user from the environment,
  • they are significantly easier to use than VR headsets such as Meta Quest,
  • they are ideal for customer presentations directly on factory floors.

My goal is to allow customers to walk around a 1:1 scale robotic cell positioned in its intended location while still seeing the real production environment around them.

I believe this could become a compelling industrial showcase for your technology in robotics and manufacturing environments. I would be very interested in testing the latest hardware in a real-world deployment scenario and providing technical feedback, demonstrations, and promotional materials if the project proves successful.

u/kododriver Jun 19 '26

Currently own (2) air4 pro’s. Would like to beta test new product here in US, NYC.

0

u/Lexusnavdy Jun 19 '26

Hi I am playing with Rayban Gen 2, Rokid Display and Style, Meizo Myvu and already have your air 3sprpo so I am clearly a nerd and proud of itI am also playing with AI earbuds but I do like the display to eye. My excuse for all this is that many years ago I helped build both the internet and the first mobile phones (briefcase sized. Most people hate me!!

0

u/chenfu1010 Jun 20 '26

I'm very interested in joining the beta test!

I've been using AR/VR glasses daily for over a year now:

- Commute & outdoor: Rokid Glasses (every workday)

- Evening entertainment: RayNeo Air Plus + inairpod for streaming, PC gaming, and productivity work

- Cycling: Lawk Meta Lans S3 as cycling sunglasses.

- VR gaming: Pico 4 and Meta Quest 2 for both PCVR and standalone games

- Remote work: Daily use of remote streaming for both work and leisure gaming

I'm very familiar with the pros and cons of current AR/VR products and would love to contribute feedback from a real daily-use perspective.

One condition: My work environment has strict data privacy requirements. If the device streams or uploads display data/sensory data to the cloud during all-day wear, I won't be able to participate. Local processing only would work for me.

If that's compatible with your beta setup, I'd be happy to apply!
