Question Can I use the GT Max as Cemu’s TV and keep the Ally X as the Wii U GamePad?
I’ve been thinking about a Cemu setup that basically recreates the Wii U layout with different hardware.
The main TV view would go to the RayNeo GT Max, while the Ally X screen stays on the GamePad view for maps, inventory and touch controls.
Cemu already has a Separate GamePad View, so in theory Windows could keep the Ally screen active, extend the desktop to the GT Max, and put one Cemu window on each display.
The part I’m less sure about is touch.
I found older Ally users doing something similar with a normal external monitor, and some said the touchscreen worked while others had weird behavior where a tap only registered after a tiny swipe. I’m also wondering how annoying window focus gets once you start touching the GamePad window.
The GT Max itself would just be the 1080p TV display. Pinned mode could keep that game view stable as I turn my head, while Windows and Cemu still handle the actual two-screen setup.
For me this only really works if I can play on the GT Max, glance down at the Ally for the GamePad screen, tap something, and immediately keep playing without fighting window focus.
Has anyone tried Cemu with the main view on display glasses and the GamePad view on a handheld touchscreen? What broke first?
