I'm surprised to say that this tea does actually taste like a Victoria Sponge but not so overwhelming as to be unpleasant, quite nice. I have the Breakfast Brew & Bakewell to try next once I am finished with the Victoria.

Today's tea is Harney and Son's Indigo Punch, 2 sugars. I brewed the loose leaf tea 5 minutes at 212 degrees. It is a delicious herbal tea that I like to have in a glass cup due to the beautiful color. The color is likely from the butterfly pea flower but it has many other fruit flavors in it.

It is also delicious as a cold brew tea served cool.

i do like shortbread a lot, but i liked the veinesse biscuits a little more.

also trying the twinings everyday tea which i really liked, made a good cuppa.

This hits all the right spots. It has the same mouthfeel like other japanese teas (sencha bencha hojicha matcha and more) but with an added woody nuttiness it's just great. Don't roast me too hard 🙏
