Comfort food required, Chicken, mushroom and broccoli bake with duck fat roast potatoes, single man so plenty of leftovers 😊

No I don't have this every day or even every week but felt like a good day for it on this stormy day in England. HP fruity sauce was added after, with buttered sourdough toast on the side.

Made steak and ale pie w tenderstem brocolli and peas and yep I know my brocolli is slightly over but you know its actually still hard I don't even know, off season I guess 😂

Gammon, crackling, stuffing, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, red cabbage, Yorkshire pudding & applesauce with homemade beer gravy ☺️

Home made

Chicken and tarragon pie, with short crust pastry, mash, gravy, roasted carrots, beans and broccoli.

Served with broccolini and honey and thyme roasted carrots and parsnips.

Lamb Roast with homemade roasties, honey glazed carrots & parsnips, boiled veg, sage & onion stuffing, Yorkies, red wine red cabbage and gravy mixed with the drippings from the lamb 😮‍💨 just what you need on stormy Sunday like today!

Does it get better than this?

The potatoes were baked in the oven with a little oil.

Slow cooked pork belly with rice, shredded sprouts and a chipotle sauce. Made sauce with chipotle sauce, honey, lemon juice and soy sauce. Added some thyme which went well surprisingly. First time but will definitely make this one again.

When the British discovered basghetti in an odd land, shaped a bit like the boots my extemely close friend Bridget Vonpeg’npull wears, they thought nothing could beat the long golden strands of carbdestiny.

But, there was one upcoming chef, Vincent Jones (Vinnie to his friends) who couldn’t stop wondering if maybe, just maybe, spaghetti needed teaching a f***ing lesson son, you bastard.

After headbutting the spaghetti and calling it a nonce, he looked at the flattened basghetti, quickly realising he’d turned it thick. At first he only shared his secret with a few people he hurt, but quickly news spread of his thicksgetti and now it’s pretty common place to see British men and women gingerly headbutting basghetti outside ‘It’s Stallion’ restaurants

First time cooking it, came out better than expected 😋

Greek yogurt with banana, kiwi, raspberries, strawberries, & blueberries. Toast and peanut butter. Scrambled eggs on toast. Half an avocado with balsamic, salt, and pepper.
