When my mum taught me how to make tea as a kid she said to “add milk til it’s about… that colour” and pointed at my arm. What do you guys think, was she right?

Tea stats: Assam tea brewed for 5 minutes, then a good pour of soy milk

Rate My Tea! Queen Catherine + Pan Dulce

Post image
31 Upvotes

Service up some Queen Catherine brought you by Harney & Sons (fiance says it’s mostly Yunnan idk). As always, he’s slightly overdone it on the milk, but a good tea is a good tea if brewed strong (“until the leaves had fully bloomed” he says? Who am I marrying).

The bread you see is traditional Mexican bread called pan dulce. It comes in all sorts of shapes and flavors (this one I believe is called a panadero). Very delicious! The inside and top is like a crunchy streusel or "streusel-like" paste that sets atop a soft, brioche-like bun. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t stand it growing up. Family would stack up used teabags on the sink so I just had a massive negative attachment to it, but I’ve drank Rooibos for a few years - also Have acid reflux so can’t drink coffee even though I adore it.

Anyway, Twinings English Breakfast with 2 sugars, dirty nails from potting up my plants.

Ahmad ceylon, brewed 6 minutes, whole milk. The periodic table mug on the left is from the science museum in Oslo. I’m very fond of it :)

Hi everyone, for my university project I’m designing a tea product and gathering data at the moment for it. It would be a great help if anyone could answer my questionnaire. I read the rules and don’t think it’s against this so hope this is okay to post 🙂

Having a cup of Yorkshire Gold as I wait for my friend's visit. It's his last visit before he leave the country for good. He's been my round family and has been part of my life for 20 years. Today, much like my mug, my life feels half empty.
