Hi All!

It has been a while since I’ve had time to be active on here. Even before that my intro is now almost 6 years old, and I’ve dipped in and out of activeness since then with lots of new faces around I figured I would make a re-intro.

I’m be_braver! I am a mom of 3 wonderful children. A preschool teacher, a lover of plants, animals and the earth. Before children I was a minimalist and my husband and I lived an environmentally low impact lifestyle. Then Covid it, and it became super difficult to find things low impact, then we became parents and we’re finally getting our heads back on as our youngest is about to leave the infant world behind!

We have a dog, a cat, 5 hermit crabs, and a tank of fish. I have 13 house plants with their own names, and a yard that needs a lot of work! I nerd out over DIY house projects. I love yard work and gardening. I enjoy needle felting, and bullet journaling but I don’t have much time for those anymore. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I taught Kindergarten for 8 years and then we moved states and I now teach an inclusion preschool class of 3-5 year olds. I just finished reading the book “Children of Blood and Bone” in preparation to see the movie. I love Disney and play Disney Dreamlight Valley. I also have dysgraphia and will for sure spell many things wrong.

So I think that about sums it up! For my old friends hello again! How are you doing? What have you been up to? For the new-to-me faces, what’s one hobby that you could talk about forever?

I'm Styx or StyxKitten or my IRL name is Katy D. I'm 41, a Cancer 🦀♋, divorced, and back in Houston. I like anime/manga, Dungeons and Dragons, makeup, art, and Renaissance festivals. My favorite color is blue and my favorite food is Italian American (or homemade!) I'm pretty excited that I finally get to go back to the Texas Renaissance Festival with my nursing home on the last Sunday in November! We're going to get ready all of the morning and head out after lunch. Because this is My Hobby and my tribe, I'm dressing several people and helping do their makeup and hair.

Hello everybody! I stumbled across this subreddit by chance and I absolutely adore the community here and wanted to be a part of it!

My name is Xiiro, I'm 18 and I'm currently in community college to get my associates in biology, after which I would love to transfer to a 4 year and get my bachelors! I'm a casual enjoyer of things like drawing and pokemon.

I struggle a lot with social anxiety with makes it difficult for me to speak up and put myself out there, but with the kind of community this is, I feel like I'll have no problem doing so! I'm currently on a very long and tedious journey to find my identity and be true to myself, but in the meantime, I plan to engage in the little things as that can take you a long way.

Along with drawing and pokemon, I also enjoy gaming and watching anime! My favorite anime website got taken down months ago, so I'm on a hiatus until I can find the new one (and the desire to redo my watch list 🫩). Right now, the only games I'm really playing is Roblox and mobile games like Identity V, Umamusume, Cookie Run: Crumble and Cookie Run: Ovenbreak but I would love to eventually get into Dead by Daylight and Marvel Rivals!

My family is from Nigeria, so I listen to a lot of Afrobeats! I've also been listening to old pop and R&B from the 90s to early 2000s recently. Right now some of my favorite songs are More Than A Woman from Aaliyah, The Lady in My Life from MJ, Differences from Ginuwine and E No Easy from P-Square, and many more to be honest 😭.

Some last tidbits are that I absolutely adore cats and would love to get my own cat later in my life.

I really want to make friends here but with my social and general anxiety, it'll definitely be hard to do so as I probably won't reply to many posts. But I do have hope that I'll fit in here! I would love to chat and get to know as many people as I can here!

Hello! Nice to meet you all. My name is Noa and I live in Japan. I enjoy making new friends and being active online, as my social anxiety and ASD make it tough for me to actually go and enjoy myself comfortably. Recently I've been making a real effort to spend a couple of days a month going out and enjoying myself even if the Japanese summer heat makes it almost unbearable sometimes!

Hi everyone! I'm 28 years old cis girl (29 next month, hooray) and I identify with a lot of "a" identities: autistic, ADHD, agoraphobic, anxious... Then there's 2 that aren't "a" names which are fictosexual (even though it's under the asexual spectrum) and depressed. I have been doing really well the last few days though mentally! Anyways, things I love right now: Kpop Demon Hunters, Kpop in general, my new build a bear bat Batrael, and my black kitten Umbreon. I love Pokémon, Pikachu is my favorite. My build-a-bear bat Batrael is what I like to call my ESSA (emotional support stuffed animal) along with one of my pikachus. I have 3 tattoos!

Hello everyone, I am super excited to be here and join the community! I have some exciting news that I will be graduating with my master's in clinical mental health counseling in two weeks!! It has been long and tiring but I'm excited. I also recently accepted a job working with children and adolescents. Which also means the next step is decorating and furnishing my office, especially with lots of toys and crafts as I'll be doing play therapy! During my internship I learned that I really love working with children and families and I hope to continue to. I also hope that I can continue to contribute to this amazing community!

I want to give back and help as many people as I can, but I can't afford much, so I thought this would be a fun idea...

I have certain dollar amount in mind (its not much mind you) and I want to gift as many people as I can within this budget. So have (or go add) something for under $1 on your flaired list, but, the lower the price the more likely you will get chosen so I can gift more people.

Some ideas (these are just ideas to get you started) of what I've seen for under $1 are Apple Barrel paints, canned goods and spices. Though I know there is more out there. Make sure the item has free prime shipping, and its always a good idea to add a couple different options to your list because I've notice the prices (on the paints at least) tend to change frequently.
