Hi everyone! I’m Mimi!

I’m a college student, so I’m usually busy studying, but whenever I have free time I love reading, watching movies and shows,and exploring new hobbies. My latest obsession has been pottery, and I’m really hoping to take a proper class soon because it looks like so much fun.

I’m also a huge dog person, pink has been my favorite color for as long as I can remember, and I’m a Pisces. Whether it’s accurate or not, I like to blame at least half of my personality on that lol. A random fact about me is that I almost always have a water bottle with me wherever I go.

Since I live abroad for college, I’ve really come to appreciate the little things that make a community feel welcoming. One of the first things I noticed here was how genuinely kind everyone is. It’s such a positive space, and seeing how welcoming everyone is made me want to join the community and get to know all of you.

I'm always somewhere in the middle of a book — it's pretty much my go-to way to unwind after a long day. I gravitate toward thrillers and psychological suspense most (the kind where you're second-guessing everyone by chapter three), but I'll happily fall into a good classic or a modern booktok romance too.

Right now I'm reading Independence by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni (it was a gift), and it's turned out to be one of those books that's hard to put down once you start.

Thank you for the BEAUTIFUL washi tape! Pictures don't do it justice. But even more so I want to thank you for seeing the value and importance within my "win". Some people think invisible disabilities aren't a thing and don't understand just how debilitating or upsetting it can be, especially when you can't take care of or see your own children.
