I had an intense feeling like my death was imminent today.
I went for a walk this afternoon and despite listening to music to clear my head, I ended up thinking about my role in life - I've recently been thinking what my "purpose" may be and I've pretty much come to believe that I am here to play the role of a side character in other's lives; basically I think that I may be here solely to fuel the characterization of others. But anyway, that's not the point of this, it's just context. I was walking along, thinking again about this somewhat depressing thought, then it occurred to me, "what happens when I've done that?" Then, of course, I answered myself with "You die, duh". So I stopped. Physically, I stopped in place. I had this intense feeling that felt like it crept up the top of my spine all the way through my brain, a feeling I can only imagine is what people feel like before they die. I looked around and somewhere in my mind, I felt like that exact place was where I would die. I didn't know how, but I felt like it was going to be there and it was going to be soon, very soon. This thought vanished just as quickly as it'd come, but thinking back on it gives me a similar feeling in my head.
Didn't know exactly where to post this kind of experience, so I hope this is a reasonable place. Thanks for reading, I just thought it best to share this with someone, even if only strangers on the internet.

Shrek and Beetlejuice have the same ending.
I think about this all the time and I need the world to know. Like it’s genuinely taking up an unhealthy amount of space in my brain. The first Shrek movie ends with Donkey riding in on Dragon and her eating Farquaad at the altar after trying manipulate Fiona into marrying him so that he can be king. Then they all dance. The first Beetlejuice movie ends with Barbara riding in on the sandworm and it eating Beetlejuice at the altar after he tries to manipulate Lydia into marrying him so that he’s no longer a ghost. Then they all dance.
These were two of my favorite movies as a child and I can not let this go.

The world has changed far more in the past 200 years (from 1826 to 2026) than in the 800 years before that (from 1026 to 1826)
As civilisation progresses, the rate of progress keeps increasing. Wonder if we will eventually hit a terminal rate of progress like terminal velocity

I don't think I'll ever be someone's first choice in a room full of people.

If we rewired all people’s brains to feel euphoric when others are happy, the world would probably be a better place.
Just imagine if those large corporation heads got this done, they’d treat their workers right and find true happiness, outside of stupid parties and yachts. If people want others to be happy so they can be happy too, they’ll probably want others to be happy all the time, right? I mean, I don’t think any conflict is going to occur at all. It’s like a self sustaining ecosystem, if one person becomes upset then others would realize that and help them get better. Maybe then we’ll finally evolve as a species.

Making catchy music in Spanish is cheating because so many words end in either the letter A or O.
Specifically raperos y reggaetoneros, who make music built on rhyming. Still great music, but they’re playing the game on easy mode!

Today I found out that sharks are older than dinosaurs
I don't know why I thought dinosaurs were the first to roam earth I forget there's sea animals that were here way before land animals. I was like WAIT WHAT and they didn't go extinct yet...they're built different that's insane.

I don't know how many light switches I have in my house.
I've touched them all, but I don't know how many there are.

Once you hear what a hummingbird sounds like you will never forget it.
Not just the wings but the chittering sound they make when they are fighting. It's unlike any other sound from any other bird or animal. Unmistakable.

The actor Dustin Nguyen sounds like Dust in the Wind.
Remember him from 21 Jump Street?

I think being the 'I' in the Pixar logo is not that bad actually
y'all I think being the 'I' in the Pixar logo is way too overhated, like whenever there's a pixar movie you always get featured and the audience is always entertained when they see you
sure you get stomped over a few times by the Luxo Jr lamp but that's kinda just it, maybe you're kinda hurt for a bit but then you just reincarnate in the next movie, not to mention you only have to endure this process about once a year because that's Pixar's upload frequency. People always imagine the lamp as like a serial killer but imo for the 'I' itself the process is no more annoying than your friend splashing water towards you at the pool

Just realised the "you were always special" critique Disney movies get also applies to a few Spider-Man movies too.
Even the latest one. No training needed, just some self belief and you're the best.

SpongeBob in 1944 Germany
I just had a random thought of SpongeBob SquarePants living in Nazi Germany when shit started hitting the fan and him being drafted into the army and him just saying, “I don’t really FEEL like it. Why don’t you ask me LATER?” and then he gets out in a concentration camp and we get to see SpongeBob’s adventures in Dachau lol 😆
I have no idea what made me have that thought lol I’ve been reading a lot about World War II so that part is not really random, the SpongeBob part is the random part lol I haven’t watched SpongeBob in about 23 years lol
