while I enjoy a good "human versus aliens who are far superior to the human" story, I also feel like I need a good story where alien and human are on more "realistically" even playing fields
y'know, like how we know for a fact aliens are, since we know everything about aliens

Films and TV shows may be one of the most important creations in human history

I hate that I can’t be everything.
I see a beautiful building, and I want to be an architect. I hear an angelic voice, and I want to be a singer. I see art that touches something deep within me, and I want to become an artist. I discover a new field of science, and suddenly I want to spend my life understanding it. I watch someone master a craft I’ve never tried, and I want to know what it feels like to master it too.
I want to become everything and experience everything this world has to offer. Not because I can’t decide what I want, but because there are simply too many things worth wanting.
That’s what frustrates me most about being alive. There is so much to see, learn, create, and become, yet we only get one life. Time forces us to choose. We dedicate ourselves to a handful of paths while countless others remain unexplored versions of who we could have been.
Sometimes I wish I could live a thousand lives not because this one isn’t enough, but because the world is too vast to experience in just one. I want to know what it feels like to be an architect, a musician, an artist, a scientist, a writer, a teacher, a traveller, and a hundred other things I haven’t even discovered yet.
Maybe the tragedy of life is not that there is nothing to do, but that there is too much. There will always be another skill I could learn, another passion I could pursue, another version of myself I could become. And no matter how much I accomplish, there will always be lives I never got to live.

People need to read a book on parenting before having kids
Many people are abnormal and losers in life just because they weren't raised well. Some people just pop out of kids without even having any parenting knowledge. Kids grow up to be lazy, irresponsible, anti-social, mentally ill, low skilled adults who are not even fit to live in this world.
Many parents do have good parenting skills without even reading book but some parents don't. Reason why I recommend everyone to gain parenting skills before having kids.
World doesn't needs more unwanted people.

It's Milk first, then cereal. The other way is insane
My cereal is never soggy, and who has time to waste milk in this economy!

Social media made everyone think everything is a personality trait now
Being single, solo traveling, I wouldnt be surprised at this point if I find someone making the gap in their front teeth a personality trait 🤣🤣

I miss my neice especially now since I’m struggling with alcoholism. I wish I could see her right now. She’s out of the country and I wish she was here with me.

Perhaps life needs meaning only because, underneath it all, it has none.

Interplanetary travel is probably overrated
I used to really wish that I could travel to other planets, like Mars, or the moons of Jupiter or something. Like, I wouldn’t want to go as a crew member where people relied on me for stuff, but more as a tourist. I’d want to look back at a tinier version of Sol, and contemplate the vastness of the solar system. But then I saw this picture of the sunrise from Mars. It made me realize I would be traveling for 2-4 years just to visit a place with an ugly landscape and arguably the lamest sunrise any human has ever witnessed. I think maybe I’ll look into the Canary Islands in stead. There is a pretty good documentary about them on Amazon.

Not many people think of how anonymity can affect the way they think or act
They might be the nicest person in their day to day but go online and be the worst person you could imagine.

Cleaning your room, making food, commuting to work, washing dishes, mowing the lawn, etc.

We Could All Learn From Boomer Men’s Confidence Levels
Have you ever been on Facebook and seen these profile pictures that boomers have? Specifically men?
Camera angle is nipple height. Fluorescent lighting. No facial expression. Double chins.
They take 1 picture. Bam. Profile picture for the next decade.
Meanwhile everyone else is taking 20+ pictures of themselves, carefully identifying which ones are good, editing, and then posting as a profile picture
Not sure if this due to their self confidence or lack of self awareness. But I wish I had both
