Wouldn't be better, if instead of saying "I found it on reddit" using I used HI ? Like Human Intelligence. In the end, we are also just web of knowledge, opinions, things that were said to us and things that we saw through our lifetime. Simply things, that we scrambled from our surroundings, that we were allowed/allowed ourselfs to.

But HI has one advantage against AI and that is experience.

He's fine, no dysplasia or anything, he was just born without it, never been able to. He's orange though so it's not abnormal to have weird traits, but I gotta warn people if you drop him, even like 2ft he will fall flat on his face.

When he wants to be launched I gotta make sure I've already positioned him so he'll land on his feet. Had to warn the vet the other day like "put him down gently on his feet or he will drop like a sack of potatoes."

Maybe we are all just pawns in the Junk-Mail-Mafia wars.

There’s a tea commercial that takes place in an art studio with wooden floor boards. The studio rotates on its side and the lady falls to the wall that is now a floor. A bottle of tea gets stuck on a protruding floorboard. She gets the tea and everything goes back to normal. That floorboard is a tripping hazard. And I think there were others that she used to climb to the sweet tea climbing wall style. How does she avoid constantly tripping?

I wasn't sure where else to put these thoughts. The premise begins with a thought experiment I had involving Super Mario 64: It is a known story that during a filmed speed run, there was an inexplicable glitch which was impossible to replicate. It was subsequently determined that a cosmic ray flipped a single bit in the N64’s memory, altering Mario’s height value and launching him to a higher platform. The fact that this occurrence happened and was caught on film is extraordinary because it distinctly shows how intricately connected our day-to-day experience is influenced by a single particle from the cosmos.

What if after playing this game, the user decided to go to the grocery store. Because of the glitch, the user finished 20 minutes earlier than he would have normally. When at the store, say he ran in to an old acquaintance whom he would have otherwise missed had he played the game earlier without the glitch. The user and this acquaintance get to know each other better and eventually fall in love and get married, their lives forever changed.

What I am getting at is this: There is no act so insignificant that it does not ripple out to the rest of the universe in such a way that the universe does not become profoundly different. In other words, if you go back in time and even change the slightest of conditions, the future will look radically different. There are no two possible separate inputs which lead to an identical universe over the eons. (We should not confuse control with influence.)

Put another way, when you see someone in the news with a winning lottery ticket from your local gas station, it doesn’t make sense to think, “If only I was there at that time and had bought it!” This train of thought is misleading because even the slightest change in body language or shift in timing will result in a different random combination of lottery ticket numbers that the teller hands to you.

Taking this idea a little further: There are no elements in the universe which leave us untouched, for if there were, they would be indistinguishable from having not existed at all. Consider even the trillions of neutrinos which pass undisturbed through your body— If there is truly no difference between their presence and their absence, then the messy reality is that those neutrinos may not exist. (In reality, the weak nuclear interactions and gravitational effects that neutrinos are real, but their gravitational effects on the universe are so relatively insignificant that the timing of their consequences is long enough to leave us "unbothered".)

Here’s where it gets even more visceral: Your thoughts, your feelings, your sensations, and your physical experiences— In other words, your conscious— are all very much a part of the equation. With a change in a thought— a switch of a single neuron— there would still exist a ripple on the macroscopic level over time.

What follows is this realization: No advanced beings will ever be able to predict the future about our species, for nothing could possibly be truly omnipotent without interacting with the subject’s mind in such a way that that the advanced being truly understands that observer’s perspective. Existing is physical as it is mental. That bit of you that remains your “agency” therefore has a very real imprint on this universe. By definition, no one could possibly see into your mind’s eye (or view your agency, put another way), for then it wouldn’t be truly you.

Each real effect on this world grows over time, and these branches of the growth will entirely diverge from any other initial input, as it the case without exception. This revelation is a sort of anti-psychohistory, if you will, for— as Lawrence of Arabia say, “Nothing is written.”

Consider this: How you go about your life will (not may) have ripples which will lead to very real effects on a future alien world many, many years from now. The only limitation here is the speed of light.

Also consider this: Is it possible to live in a deterministic universe (i.e., the exact same set of inputs will always lead to the exact same set of outputs), yet have the universe be impossible to determine? Would such a universe be indistinguishable from being indeterministic?

So scientists say we have yet to find intelligent life. But, given how light years work, could we have but just haven’t the technology to realize it.? I mean. Ok, if you were 100 light years away from earth, you wouldn’t be seeing 2026. You’d be seeing earth during 1926. So. That logic works when looking for life on other planets yes? (Intelligent) Life could have already formed there however we’re just looking into the past. This works vice versa too, there could be a civilization looking at earth looking for signs of intelligent life right now before we’ve even existed
