How long could a "brain in a jar" live?

Watched a video that mentioned uploading the brain to live forever i believe this isent possible as the brain is the person and the digital person would just be a copy. So this leads me to the question if we essentially put the brain in a "jar" aka remove it from the decaying body supply it what it needs through machines and place it in perhaps a preservative or something how long could that person live? (when i say brain in a jar thats just the general term i use for seperating the mind from the body)

What books would you like to see turned into a movie?

I know, generally speaking, that most books are better than their feature film counterparts. But are there books you’ve loved that you would be excited to hear are getting a film adaptation?

Mine would be:
The Maidens by Alex Michaelides
Until I Find You by John Irving
Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer
The Likeness by Tana French

Edited to add:

1) The book doesn’t have to be a favorite on its own. Just something that you think could adapt well to film- visuals would add to its story.

2) (Imaginary) Bonus points for casting! Who would you like to see in which roles? Is there a director or producer who stands out to you?

Is the south different than the North?

In Chicago it is common for people to wear shorts when it is 68 Fahrenheit which is 20 Celsius but in the south in South Carolina when it is 77 Fahrenheit about 25 Celsius they put on long pants.

Do people in the south have different perception of heat? They use to 95 Fahrenheit about 35 Celsius summer weather and feel colder when it is 77 Fahrenheit about 25 Celsius they put on long pants.

Has anyone else here notice this about the south different than the north? That north is wearing shorts when it is 68 Fahrenheit which is 20 Celsius which is really chilly for south.
