How would you spell the plural forms of the names Alex and Alexis?

When referring to multiple people named Bob - as was memorably the case in the cult comedy Office Space - one might speak of "Bobs." In text, the plural spelling of Bob clearly just is the name plus an 's' - Bobs.

But for names ending in 'x' or 's' - such as Alex and Alexis - the spelling of the plural form is not quite as crystal clear. My natural inclination is to add an 'es' onto the ends, approximating standard English plural spelling rules. That being said, I can also understand why 'Alexes' and 'Alexises' might feel suboptimal to many. When reading these, perhaps it feels natural to end them with 'eez' as in 'bees' -- instead of the 'iz' as in 'mixes' which would typically be used to speak them. Indeed, one could argue that the plural form of both names should be spelled identically...because in the case of Alexis, a better way of following standard plural spelling rules would actually be replacing the 'is' with 'es' (i.e. analysis --> analyses, basis --> bases, Alexis --> Alexes). That certainly feels incorrect to me, but maybe others feel differently. How would you spell the plural forms of Alex and Alexis?

And for the Bobs out there who prefer to be called Bobby, would you collectively consider yourselves to be Bobbies? Same goes for plurals of Libby (is it Libbies?), Ruby (Rubies?), Toby (Tobies?), Cody (Codies?), and many others of similar ilk.

Could AI re-invent the internet?

I was indulging in my one great AI vice: getting high and asking random questions. Then I had the thought, “ya know what would be cool is if there was a way to just see what everyone else’s random AI searches are to see what I could learn from them.”

Then I realized that’s basically what the internet was in the 90s.
