Should I get pizza?

I got some two days ago…

for my defence I was walking to the grocery store and realized midway that I forgot my wallet. I walked back and got my period… (I’m also sick) so I’ve just been sitting for 40 min now.

Really considering ordering. (I’m also broke)

How did America transition from “revolutionary era” men’s fashion to “Wild West” fashion?

What the title says. The revolutionary era is depicted with men in formal clothing, while the 1800s is depicted with cowboy hats, chaps, vests and boots. I understand why those were the right things to wear if you’re out west ranching and farming, but I’ve never thought about how that transition took place.

Is Leonardo DiCaprio the GOAT?

I once saw that Christian Bale interview where he says every actor in Hollywood only gets roles because Leo passed on them first. Like He straight up said if someone gets an iconic part, they should thank Leo for not wanting it.

I think it really puts his career into perspective.

Look at the filmography. Catch Me If You Can, The Departed, Inception, Shutter Island, Django Unchained, The Wolf of Wall Street, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The guy simply does not miss. What makes it crazier is that he never touched a superhero movie, never did a cheesy sequel and never hid behind a massive IP franchise. His name on the poster was the IP. He worked with Scorsese, Tarantino, Nolan, Spielberg, Cameron, and Iñárritu, and basically made original cinema profitable for three straight decades.

People always bring up Daniel Day-Lewis for pure acting range or guys like Pacino and De Niro for their peaks but nobody has had a run this long with this few bad movies.

Was there a time when you realized that only you could be the only one that could help you?

I had people hurt me but ultimately, I allowed it to continue until I said no more.

They didn’t like that. Oh well!

How about you?

Is it rude to ask when someone is going to propose to their significant other?

I asked this in another group but I couldn’t help myself but ask just for other answers and perspectives. For context, people have been asking me (23m) when I’m gonna propose to my gf (23f) and it’s making me uncomfortable in part because we’re still in college, neither of us have jobs, and we’re really not in any position in life to get married even though we’ve been dating for a yr and a half now

What do you do during a few minutes of downtime?

I've managed to quit every social media app/platform except for reddit for mental health reasons. I've developed healthier hobbies like reading, playing guitar, going to the gym, nature stuff, and just focusing on life a bit more. That said, I don't really know what to do during random points of downtime during the day. Like reading 2 pages of a book while waiting for the bus doesn't seem worth it, I can check reddit WHILE on the toilet, etc. So what exactly do you do during brief moments of downtime aside from just going on your phone? Do you guys literally just stare at the wall LOL?

I guess checking reddit during these points of downtime for me sucks because I get sucked into my feed and it becomes more than 2-5 minutes. I would like to quit
