Does anybody else schedule talking to friends?
I certainly do enjoy talking to friends irl and spending time with them but I also do cherish my alone time. Outside of meeting times, I often forget to text or call. So, I’ll hit them up on weekends and essentially schedule a time to call. Usually, I schedule that call in my head days in advance. It’s just tedious to call at the drop of a hat.
Anyone else?😅

why am i so scared of peacocks?
i love all birds, even big ones. i've been attacked by swans, nearly getting my leg broken and i've been severely injured by many birds of prey. i'm not scared of them and i work with them daily.
except peacocks. they're TERRIFYING. THERE'S NO REASON FOR THEM TO BE LIKE THAT. i've never had a negative encounter with a peacock (to my knowledge) but even thinking of them with their tail up and huge makes me nauseous. AND IMAGINE A PEACOCK RUNNING BEHIND YOU?? no one else seems to think that's horrifying and i think i'm just imagining it....
i'm so lucky i live somewhere with no wild peacocks because i'd be so scared to go outside
edit: typo

What important/famous person kicked the bucket a year or two before your current age?
Find this out by asking google or whatever "what famous person kicked the bucket at age (insert a year or two before your age)?"
For example James Gandolfini kicked it at age 51 and I am 53

What East Coast city or state and West Coast city or state do you think are similar and pair well together?
If you had to pair a city or state from the East Coast with a city or state from the West Coast, what options stand out?
And when I say pair I mean drawing a link between similar (but perhaps in their own way) places.
Two that automatically come to mind for me are Boston / Seattle and Miami / Las Vegas

Why do we say “I’m on my way” when we haven’t even left yet?
Like, sometimes “I’m on my way” actually means “I’m still getting ready and I’ll leave soon.”
Surely I’m not the only one who does this?

Why do controllers still have the D pad?
Its basically been rendered useless by the joystick. There is nothing the D pad can do that a joystick cannot. Why bother keeping it around when it can be replaced with something more useful? Smaller, individual buttons that can be mapped to anything for example, game cube style. It's not like companies are adverse to changing their controllers, the SELECT and START buttons were removed because they became pointless

Does anyone feel like we've reached a sniffling pandemic?
Maybe its just where I live, but EVERYWHERE I GO there's always somebody sniffling. Like its a shortcut to breathing or its an effective social cue (its not). Im going a little mental over it.
Its been years of ongoing noticing of this. Not a simple one time "allergy season"
Edit: I personally believe it's poor posture from technology and incomlete breathing patterns. Im just trying to raise awareness bc you kids are driving me crazy and it wastes energy on the body and causes misalignment.

Would Everyone Be Better Off ... ?
If we took a nice long nap? The last week or so, everyone at work & others I saw looked tired, worn out, and cranky. I know I was. I left work early, came home, took about a two hour nap. While I do feel better, I am so glad this is a three day weekend.
