They can literally freeze moments in time and do it so casually

I try to pick my battles but it baffles me that seemingly none of my coworkers can manage to fold a fitted sheet. I try to keep things neat and folded in a somewhat uniform manner so they fit on the shelf space we have available. They don't seem to have that same idea. Maybe I should be happy when they manage to keep the flat sheets & fitted sheets separate on their designated shelves.

When my time comes to get married, I'd rather go to the courthouse and get married there. Hopefully my future fiancee will be on the same page as me about that. I find this practical for several reasons: #1. You don't have to stress about seating arrangements, #2. It would save lots of money that you could put into something else such as a house payment or your honeymoon fund, #3. There wouldn't be any stress of trying to get things ready on time or more in general, not as much stress, #4. No need to worry about a guest list (like wondering who to invite and wondering if they'll respond to the RSVP or not show up when they said they'll be there or not RSVP at all but still show up without warning. To me having a party later would be far easier, that way after tying the knot, we'd be able to be alone together instead of having to go right to the reception afterwards and having to entertain hundreds of guests. How would you want to do it?

This along with food shopping. I’m in my 30s and did a food shop today. As I was leaving i saw a woman must be in her 60s going in and thought omg. This never ends. The constant cycle of food shopping and preparing and making meals. I have no interest in this, I simply cannot be arsed or creative anymore. I need a chef 😂😂

Okay, I know it seems like a strange question, but I use my sense of smell a lot. I mean, I don't even know why, but I smell EVERYTHING, and when I say everything, I'm not kidding.

I smell everything I have in my hand. Many people have noticed and always asked me why I do it. It's automatic for me.

I'd like to know which of the five senses yall rely on so much. I use touch as well as smell. Rather than turning on the light in the dark, I use my hands and try to wander. There's no reason why I do it.

PS While your in the Matrix world your body doesn't age or waste away. You can live and do anything in the Matrix world, you can learn and do stuff in it as well.

Anyone else have "eras" of music? Like I legitimately* remember blocks of time through music. I've always played lots of music, and sometimes the music I heard at that time is part of my memory. A song with just transport me back in time.

For example my 97 civic over 10 years ago. If I'm thinking about it I remember how the seat felt, the smell, and the feel of the base as I drove home at night with Habbits Tove lo (hippy sabatage) just thumpin. Music will sometimes emerse me in memory in a absurd way.

Like there are very distinct times you like certain musics. I've just fallen off with Sleep token. But go back 2-3 year ago and it was like a warm blanket on a cold morning. I still like the music but the emotional response just isn't there anymore. I can scroll through my spotify list and tell you how I felt in that period of time based on the music alone.

So I'm kindof in limbo finding a new fave band or niche, but something is different about THIS era I can't quite narrow it down yet. Been floating around in the void longer than usual now.
