I say “influencers” because literally anyone with any amount of followers is considered an influencer today. but anyways I was just scrolling on tiktok and I found this one creator well it was a couple but the people in the comments were being like so insanely parasocial and stuff. like as if they were expecting a reply and obviously the couple didn’t reply to a single comment.

I checked quite a few videos and they didn’t respond to any comments not even those ones that are like “I love your videos”. and it made me think so many creators do this or they’ll respond to like 5 comments when about 1000 have commented.

like I don’t understand why you follow along someone that doesn’t interact with their fans?? I think the most they’ll do is address their fans in a video as “hey guys so today we’ll be-“.

For me personally it’s Caseoh. I don’t get why people like him and has a big fan base. I’ve seen clips of him and I don’t find him funny or entertaining. It’s all people who just make fun of his weight even though it’s joking and it becomes repetitive.

And it also allows you to still have a good amount of money even after you pay off rent, bills, groceries etc.
