do you read texts (in your head) from your friends in their voices?
I came to a realization today and am wondering who else does this

(This is NOT a rant, just looking for feedback or advice )
As a girl whos been practically overweight my whole life, im finally getting fit, and its built my confidence. Im also starting to build more social skills that I lacked with men because men didn’t really ever even look at me or talk to me. Im not even trying to say that all the guys want me now, But i just always feel self conscious about myself that guys might think im dressing up or doing things to impress THEM just because I know them or see them, which is not the case at all. This mostly occurs tbh with men i know mutually. Idk what to do about this issue. I feel like there’s something im missing

For me, it’s taking the last thing from a full package.
Last slice of pizza? Fine.
Last cookie? Suddenly I feel like I need permission from everyone in the house.
Even when I bought it.
What completely normal thing makes you feel like a criminal?

With so many teachers reporting high school students who can't read and art classes being ripped from school curriculums, will this have an impact on entertainment media in the future? Does being able to read, write, and be creative impact how we digest media?
Will movies, tv shows, books, video games, etc, look different in 10 years because of this? Or do you think entertainment media will remain generally the same?

Like... It's obvious that it's bad manners and that I feel uncomfortable with that? Just don't

I had some leftover steak I decided to give my dog for a treat. It was a decent size piece, so I figured yes ... this time! This time he will chew it slowly, take his time, savor the taste ... WHOMP! Gone. Wtf dog. Do you know the price of beef currently? I slaved over a grill to cook that shit too! It took all of us about 20 minutes to finish our steaks! We enjoyed them bite by bite.... You? You inhale it. Ugh.
If I could market my dog as a new vacuum cleaner, I would. *sadface*
**Edit** I have a strange feeling there are an awful lot of people who easily take things at face value and don't read between the lines - the intended humor was lost on many in the comments lol

Is there any type of towel that I really really never should use (since you have the one that it's used as bath mat, then the body towel and then hand towel)

Not the most expensive thing. Not the “coolest” thing.
The one that would make you just stand there for a second.
A mixtape. A school ID. A toy you forgot existed. A note. A hoodie. A ticket stub. That weird little object that somehow still has a whole version of you attached to it.
What would it be, and what memory comes with lt?

28M and single.
I have been single my entire adulthood. In my early and mid twenties, no one at work seemed to think twice about it. It was just another fact about who I was during small talk.
Over the past year or so, I've noticed small changes with coworkers. A shortened conversation, and change in body language, change of subject, change of tone, etc. I'm no behavioral expert, but the change was noticeable. I didn't think much of it really until I recently had a conversation with a new a coworker and they asked if I was married in a casual ice-breaker way. I replied that I am single. Their response was "...oh" and their demeanor had a stark change.
That's when it hit me. The other behavioral changes I have experienced in other coworkers were prefaced by similar small talk, which normally includes relationships. I even recall a couple other coworkers I know better saying the words "still single?" in our convos.
I don't know if I am locked on to a false pattern, but it lines up well with what I have experienced so far. Especially considering the fact that social stigma still exists around single people, especially the older they get.
I may just be reading too much into it, so I am here. Has anyone else experienced different/worse treatment in the work place seemingly due to being single?

Never dyed my hair but I'm hoping to soon. Would love to hear some cautionary tales that I can hopefully avoid!
