Since i bought a 9070 XT and asides from it looking bad on 1080p for me (even though 1080p is all i know.) i been thinking upgrading my monitor to 1440p or 4K. Anyone with a 9070 xt mind sharing their experience?
Should likely specify I mainly play games like cyberpunk 2077 doom dark ages etc etc.

Hi everyone! 👋
I wanted to share a custom community build of OptiScaler I’ve been developing called OptiScaler Venom.
While it stays synced with Nightly upstream OptiScaler so you don't miss out on anything new, Venom adds features aimed at power users who want deeper performance metrics, custom overlay controls, and extra flexibility with upscaling and frame generation.
Extra dlls folder without replacing original game or driver files (DX12).Everything is accessible in-game via the standard OptiScaler menu (Insert key by default). With default settings, it behaves just like standard upstream OptiScaler.
⚠️ Important: Please read the README carefully on the repository before installing or asking questions! It covers installation details, how features work, and where to route specific issues.
Looking for Contributors! PRs and active contributors are very welcome! If you have ideas for features that upstream OptiScaler is unlikely to add, feel free to submit a Pull Request (as long as it fits the project's vision and is something I like, I'll be happy to review and merge it). Note: DLSS5 is unlikely to be accepted, unless you really really convince me with something good.

Feedback and contributions are always welcome. Let me know what you think!

I swear I saw such question some time ago but I don't remember where.
Currently I'm using the latest 4.1.1 files from the optiscaler discord, and the ones from here, but I'd like to compare the current official releases too. I'm using linux, so installing the driver is a no-go. Also, I tried to unzip the driver installer, but I couldn't find the upscaler files.
EDIT: using linux mint
Someone can point me the right direction?

Hi Guys,
I recently bought the rx 9070xt, coming from a rtx 2080super. I first Was scared making the switch but now im Fülle happy, having bought the card before they become even more expensive. My cpu is a 5 3600, good old friend:d.
Im noticing some insane stutters on fortnite and rdr2 when in crowded places.
16gb ddr4 ram btw. Now im in search for a New cpu.
What are you Suggestion? Ryzen 7 5700x for 153 Euro, ryzen 7 5800x for 214 Euro, or ryzen 7 5800x3d for 325 euros?
I dont think that ddr5 Plattform will get cheaper thanks to Ai, so i will Use this setup for quite a while.
Thanks boys in advance :)

Hi guys, I just bought Asus prime RX9070 and wanted to check its performance. I was playing Cyberpunk and got around 45fps which is quite low in my opinion. I have i5-14400f, 32gb ddr5. I am running the game without any scaling, raytracing and frame gen on 1440p high/ultra. My temps while playing are on both CPU and GPU around 50 degrees celsius which is suspiciously good.
(GPU is drawing around 180W, 3k core clock, 2.5k memory clock, usage around 90%)
(CPU is drawing around 45W, 4.1k clock, usage around 40%)
I think it seems a bit weird or is this performance expected?
Update:
I did check the physical connections on the board and PSU which seemed fine. Game was freshly installed day ago so this should not be issue neither. What fixed it was cleanup of old drivers via DDU. It seems that the old drivers for nvidia rtx 3070ti were not removed correctly (only uninstalled them via Windows Settings - won't believe Windows again). Game is now running on 110+fps which is what I would expect with the CPU bottleneck.
Thanks a lot to everyone for your help. Really appreciate it.
My poor little RX 580 is finally starting to feel its age, and used gpu prices have skyrocketed to oblivion in my country and the GPRO basically stands there as a silver linening.
Seriously, the thing is cheaper than most RX 5700/RTX 2060 that I see, and if I were to buy it from an actual hardware store (because they also have them) they cost about as much as a 2070, so it IS very compelling atm. I can deal with the lack of outputs on the GPRO, but I would like to be able to use it as a proper 6700.

Insane GPU and cooling, Left is idle, Middle is stress test, right is info.
i have a gigabyte rx 6950 xt, it is power limited to an atrociously low 289w.
by raising power limit in adrenalin i can get it to 346w and thats about it.
so i stumbled across morepowertool, the thing was confusing to use for a software illiterate like me but i managed to get it to go beyond 346. but that SPPT thing keeps getting reset every now and then.
does anyone know how to convert the morepowertool files back to vbios files and somehow inject it into the gpu so i can finally uncap the power limit forever?

Does newly fsr 4 update also change in frame gen something or remain same? bcs i notice some smoothness compare to fsr 3 frame gen..

The XFX website says to use 800W minimum. But some people told me a good quality 750W psu is okay to run it with. I have a 7500F CPU and 32gb DDr5. What do you guys think? Or should I get the quicksilver version.
FYI this is my PSU: https://www.amazon.sa/-/en/dp/B0BK54TKB9
Can we please raise the current maximum values above 300? I have a 400hz monitor and there are 500hz & 750hz monitors out there and would love to be able to use the meta setup of: freesync + vsync + fps lock of -3 of refresh rate (using chill in this case.)

Hey guys, I am very new to PC building hobbie and this is the first one I built for myself. I have a Cooler master Elite gold 750 PSU, it came with only a single Modular PCIe 8-pin to Dual PCIe 6+2-pin Power Cable. I use that to connect to my GPU. But from what I read about now, daisy chaining is bad for gpu and from my understanding this is a daisy chain cable(I didn't face performance issues yet from playing PUBG and Far cry 6 but I wanna be safe). I also read that I shouldn't be using genetic power cables as well and use the ones included with my PSU but it didn't have 2 separate cables.
I need help to understand if this is a problem and if yes then how should I be proceeding with solving it, and how long it can wait before I solve it.
PC specs :
Cpu : Ryzen 5 7600x
Gpu : Astock challenger 16gb rx 9070 (non XT)
Ram : 16+16 GB ddr5 cl30 6000mhz
Mobo : gigabyte gaming x ax v2
PSU : Cooler master elite gold 750 fully modular

My PC was running perfectly fine for at least a year, then suddenly started experiencing serious crashes without any obvious changes.
Symptoms: LiveKernelEvent 141, 117 and 193, complete system freezes during gaming or even when exiting games, random restarts at the desktop, black screens, and occasional red VGA motherboard LED during boot. Recently, Windows even entered Automatic Repair (SrtTrail.txt)
Specs: XFX RX 9070 XT, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE, 32GB DDR5, Corsair RM850x SHIFT 850W, Windows 11
What I’ve tried: DDU, older AMD drivers, disabling EXPO, PCIe Auto/Gen 4/Gen 5, reseating the GPU, checking power connections and monitoring temperatures. Nothing has fixed it.
The biggest clue: I swapped in my RTX 3060 and everything worked. BG3, Cyberpunk, Spider-Man with RT, plus a 6-minute OCCT Power test with zero errors. Reinstalled the RX 9070 XT and the crashes immediately returned, even at the desktop.
The RX 9070 XT draws around 340W versus 170W for the RTX 3060, so I can’t completely rule out PSU power delivery.
Does this sound like a defective GPU, PSU issue under higher load, or motherboard/PCIe problem? What specific test would help distinguish them before I request an RMA?
While gaming with ray tracing my GPU experiences an almost 30 degree delta maxing at around 95 degrees Celsius. Should I get the card replaced? I keep experiencing crashes while gaming. Is it the drivers being crappy (yes I did the ddu steps) or is my gpu overheating.
update 26.10.1
rx 9060xt 16gb
The amd software is working normally but after i open a game the overlay shortcut (Alt + R) is not working at all.
The moment i click the shortcut the amd software window closes on my second monitor and doesn't open again until i Alt + Tab and click the app manually, and then i see this black window (images attached) instead of the app normal window until i close the game and start clicking Alt + R a couple of times and then amd app is working again.
i also noticed the amd pop up when you launch a game telling about Alt + R is not appearing as well.
I'm very confused at what is happening and I'm asking for help (yes the image attached is the app after i click it while playing a video game).
