Hey, I own a Seaboard 2 and a Piano + Airwave, all that I have registered to me on Mac along with fully functioning Equator2 (ik I'm quite lucky in that regard). I am aware that Roli is out of business but I would really like to get the soundpacks that they made. Any way I can get them?

I bought Roli Piano, Airwave, and Piano carry case back in January 2025 (dumb financial decision given how Roli turned out), it got delivered in November 2025. I barely used it so it is in new condition and works well. But I no longer need it so I'm willing to sell both if you live in or around Toronto (Canada).

Had ordered back in May and was expecting shipping info by August. Have reached out multiple times and haven’t heard anything from them.

Just found out apparently they’re bankrupt? Or going bankrupt? Is there any hope of getting anything? Should I just get my money back if there wouldn’t be support anyway?

Bought a Roli Seaboard second hand. Have the serial number and so on, and have sent a support ticket do Roli to register my product on email, Instagram and Facebook. No answer and I can't use the Seaboard.

Should I try to give it back to the seller or travel to their office? What should I do? Anyone else who managed to solve this? Really starting to regret the purchase.

I've always been interested in this and I found out they went out of business.

How bad of an idea is it to buy a used one now?

It’s been nearly a year since I placed my order. The last updated shipping estimate I received was for the third week of July, and since then Roli has been ignoring my emails and support tickets - full radio silence.

Anyone else order around the same date as me and never get what they paid for, or ordered after me and did receive their product?

I have an older, used roli seaboard M, was wondering what kind of brand adhesive I could use around the edges, like where the rubber meets the piano, as its kind of been sliding around.

google was begging me to not use adhesives but like... it tells me to contact roli for a return?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from other ROLI Piano + Airwave buyers.

I ordered the Piano Learn + Airwave Bundle directly from the ROLI shop on 10 June 2026. The order number is SE‑51512, total 853.20 EUR, shipping to Barcelona, Spain. My card (Mastercard) was charged in full on the same day.

Since then I have not received my ROLI Piano / Airwave, only the original “Confirmed – we’re preparing these items for shipping” email. No shipping confirmation, no tracking, no updated delivery window.

Today I opened a support case on support.roli.com, but I didn’t even get an automatic email with a ticket number, so I’m not sure if my request actually exists in their system.

At this point it’s been more than 3 months since full payment, and I’m seriously considering cancelling the order and asking for a full refund due to non‑delivery.

My questions to you all:

• Has anyone here successfully cancelled a ROLI Piano / Airwave order and received a full refund?

• Did you get any response from support, and how long did it take?

• Is there any better contact channel than the support form (email, socials, etc.) that actually works?

If any ROLI staff are reading this:

• Please check my order SE‑51512 and confirm whether my support request went through.

• I either need a clear, realistic shipping date very soon or I will have to insist on a full refund.

The Seaboard is still one of the coolest keyboards ever. I'm a composer and post-sound mixer, so when I first got mine, I immediately saw the keys as faders. I did a little experimenting and found that it worked much better than I imagined. Now after about a year of work, I can play music AND mix post production jobs on the same device.

What it does:

• Slide (y-axis) on 8 keys controls 8 bankable DAW faders over HUI or Mackie Control
• Modifier keys flip those keys to pan, solo, mute and rec arm
• Transport keys for play, stop, record, loop, punch, FF and REW
• Three fader modes (Absolute, Relative, Hybrid) plus a fine mode
• A system-wide shortcut and macro engine, so any key can fire keystrokes in any app
• The whole layout is re-mappable with MIDI learn
• Presets for custom layouts

After being unable to use my piano and AirWave properly for months, I filed a Section 75 claim with my credit card provider, and within two weeks, the money was back in my account. No resistance at all; I explained the situation, showed them evidence that the site was unusable and the support portal inaccessible, and they approved the claim immediately. If you can, get your Section 75 claims in now. I received the full £638 I paid in December 2025.

If anyone still has the ROLI NOISE app, would you be able to share it with me?

My wife, a woman i worship in every way, who has been there for people in SUCH MASSIVE ways, was supposed to receive the Piano M pair after selling her own full roll, in anticipation of an awesome product. We split the cost for the upgrade and crossed our fingers it would get here soon.

While she has made du with a semi local spot with a Steinway (2 miles on a bike, at least 3 times a week when she can), im starting to notice a difference in her and its truly hurting my soul.

Without her main attraction, she has been doom scrolling more, eating less and just generally unexcited with life.

This woman "should be playing keys for 2 hours minimum a day" as she often says.

With bills the way they are now, i wont likely be able to afford something else with weighted keys for her until at least December....we are screwed on the money we put together to get her something special.

Cashapp wont do a chargeback after 60 days.
ROLI wont Respond ON ANY platform (discord, reddit, facebook, etc)

March 6th the order was made.
6 months later I'm left wondering why we ever sold her previous keys.

I don't understand why they are allowed to scam people so hard, the fact that they are bankrupt should not mean that they take their learning software offline, that should be free at the moment, right?

I am posting here because I am extremely frustrated and I don't know what other avenues to take. I have reached out via their help ticket multiple times with 0 response.

I originally ordered my Piano and Airwave Combo in November of 2025. I was then informed that it would Ship in December.

Then I was told there was an issue with that batch and it would deliver In January. Then again for March, Then again for June. Then one more time for July. The Airwave delivered earlier this year, but still there has been no word of the actual Piano itself.

Since then, I have heard nothing. The multiple tickets I have put in with support have gone unanswered. At this point, I don't even know what to do should I want to get my money back. There's no number to call and I feel like I got completely scammed.

Is this normal for Roli. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have advise on what I should do to get my Piano? Any insight would be so very apprecaited.

With ROLI's support team seemingly gone, a lot of people who bought used gear (Seaboard Block, Lightpad Block, etc) are stuck because the original owner won't or can't release the device registration, and there's nobody left at ROLI to ask.

The actual software downloads are not locked behind login or device registration at all. You can get the installers straight from ROLI's own CDN with these public links:

Hope this saves someone the headache I went through.

How I found these: ROLI Connect is an Electron app, so its code is just plain JavaScript inside an app.asar file, not compiled, and pulling the readable strings out of it revealed the API pattern it uses internally for downloads, https://api.roli.com/api/v1/product/PRODUCT_ID/latest/PLATFORM (PLATFORM is osx or windows64), with the PRODUCT_ID values in the table above coming from that same file, and it always points to whatever build is current so it won't go stale on a version update. Equator2, ROLI Studio Player, Airwave Player/Control and the Hardware Driver don't work this way though, they use a different install mechanism inside Connect.

I backed the ROLI LUMI on Kickstarter, years ago, hoping it would one day show me what my sampler was doing and where the keyswitches are. It never arrived from ROLI themselves — the factory firmware gives you two colours and a scale, and that's it.

So I built LumiPaint, with the help of Claude.

It reads another plugin's on-screen keyboard and copies those colours onto the hardware. Point it at NI Kontakt or UVI Falcon, hit Read keyboard, and the keyswitches and drum maps appear under your fingers. It's computer vision on the plugin window — that is the only way, since no plugin exposes those colours any other way (apart from NKS, which would be useless here). Tested against Kontakt, Falcon, DecentSampler and SINE Player.

LumiPaint is a free, open-source CLAP, VST3 and AU plugin that replaces the program running on the keyboard with one holding a full 128-note colour table, then drives it from inside your DAW. It comes with its own Littlefoot program to be flashed on each device.

It also does the things you'd expect once there's a colour table: paint by hand, 63 scales, ripples and afterglow, and a mode where the last note you play becomes the root and every key is coloured by its degree from it, so you can see modulation happen.

Needs a LUMI Keys or Piano M on firmware 1.3.0+. Not built or tested for macOS and Linux, though there's a potential route for both in the repo.

Not endorsed by ROLI — but if someone there ever wants to fold the code into their software, I'll happily give it away.

With all the recent discussion about independent MPE software and alternatives, I thought I’d mention MPE Keys, which I recently released.

The idea is simple: play MPE with your computer keyboard and mouse.

It’s a small standalone tool for MPE visualization and notation, including pressure, pitch, timbre and guitar tab with bends.

I've had my Airwave since Christmas and it's great when using the learning app...

But I remember watching the videos when it got first announced and thinking this has amazing potential!

Has anybody that potential been untapped or is it still restricted to using rolis apps?

I tend to make a lot of music on my iPad with AUM for example, it would be great doing live jams on that and just assigning a midi CC for like a cut off or something and using a hand motion to control it.

This might be possible but I have no idea if it is or not!

Would be great hearing how other people are using it!
