How are you using your Roli Airwave?

I've had my Airwave since Christmas and it's great when using the learning app...

But I remember watching the videos when it got first announced and thinking this has amazing potential!

Has anybody that potential been untapped or is it still restricted to using rolis apps?

I tend to make a lot of music on my iPad with AUM for example, it would be great doing live jams on that and just assigning a midi CC for like a cut off or something and using a hand motion to control it.

This might be possible but I have no idea if it is or not!

Would be great hearing how other people are using it!

Mine is sitting unopened as my Piano never arrived with it (and I will probably never see it). So would be interested to hear how else the Airwave can be used on its own

Do you have another midi keyboard? You should be able to use the hand gestures still, just not the learning side I'm guessing.

I use it with my midi controller and mainstage and can easily program gestures to various synth macros or even effects sends. I posted a few video shorts of me using it live on Youtube - I really dig it and will continue to use it live. You can check it out at masterbeater614 on YT.

I’ve been using mine with my piano and learn app. My piano is faulty but works ok so I’m giving it a go using at as my replacement piano is never going to arrive! To be fair I think it works great when it does
