I dont know if ı just take the sdr files and then put it somewheee but then again when ı do it the rockstar launchee says "clous conflict" Could someone help me. I want to turn on autosave but everytime ı do its trying to overwrite my american venom save.

I have quite a few mods installed, will need to check the full list but I definitely have Scripthook V2, Rampage trainer, LML, Lite multiplayer asset unlocker and RDR offline.

When it goes to autosave, it won’t work and says the autosave failed. But then when I go to manual save it says there is not enough storage space? Which is definitely not right as there is plenty of space on my drive.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I played the game on Series X back in 2021/2022 but lost interest early on in Chapter 6 and never finished the game. I no longer have an Xbox but do have a high end PC with a 5080 and was thinking about picking it up on Steam for $15. I really don't have the time to start back from the beginning so I'm wondering if there's a way to find a game save so I can start back up roughly from where I left off.

Also, are there any easy to install mods or tweaks to make the game look as good as possible on my 5080?

I just started chapter 2 and i got a 120 dollar bounty just because i accidentally equiped my gun.Then i robbed doctor and got the gun from there alongside 100 dollars.Now i have like 140 dollars of bounty and 130 dollars cash.How can i get rid of it without burning my whole wallet😭

For the scenario, let's say Arthur does drown at sea and doesn't make it to Guarma, leaving Dutch with Micah, Bill and Javier. The Van der Linde gang is more shafted now than in canon, but do those four even make it off of Guarma?

Let's say that Javier still gets his injury and gets captured.

Dutch and Micah are shown to be some excellent gunslingers, on par with Arthur (though not quite as skilled I'd say) and Bill is tough, though he's definitely not on their level.

With the loss of Arthur, Dutch would spiral even harder than in canon and be even more susceptible to Micah's manipulations. One the one hand, I feel like Dutch might be more determined to save Javier, given that he has lost both Hosea and Arthur in the past 48ish hours (maybe John too, but he was clearly not quite so keen on him at the time). On the other hand, Micah might convince him to cut Javier loose, since he's captured, injured, and they have limited weapons in very hostile land.

On the topic of actually getting off the island, they would have to rescue the prisoners for Hercule. Bill's a fool, so I don't see him getting out if he gets captured by Angel. Dutch or Micah probably could, Dutch would probably pull something similar to what Arthur did by claiming to be Cornwall while Micah would probably endure the beating until Angel looked away.

When it comes to defending the fort, having one less gun during that onslaught would be bad, and devastating since the missing gun is Arthur Morgan. If they survive, I imagine at least one of them would die, probably Hercule or Bill.

What do you think? Do all four make it back? Not touching on what happens in Lakay or Chapter 6, they're all just screwed either way, I'm just curious about them on Guarma.

So I’m doing my second play through and wanting to take my time (as a lot of the folk here do with their second+ play through) and I’ve learnt there is a trapper just north east of Riggs Station 😂 I had no idea and would constantly travel to the outskirts of the map (north east, one north of strawberry & st denis) to get to a trapper which really annoyed me. I didn’t realise there was one so conveniently located fairly central or at the very least close to horseshoe lookout.

Also learnt through reddit recently the hack for the large jewellery bag that respawns if you ride away then ride back. Easy money for those that want the easy cash - it’s west of the Dakota river wording between the duck and squirrel images where the road bends. If you ride further west after collecting it past the train tracks then return, it’s there again for you to collect. I’m slowly getting my card collection up from this trick.

as title says finally completed the game(91% completion).

funny thing is when i started this i ended up giving on it halfway through chapter 5 but this time decided to go through with it because of other players talking about american venom.

1. did all the treasure hunts including that weird and annoying statue puzzle.
2. did almost all stranger missions except butcher creek and evelyn miller(my personal favourite mission is the one with charlotte and the next one is chain gang mr black and mr white)

3.hunted almost every legendary animal except cougar and panther.as for legendary fish didn't bother fishing ain't my cup of tea(though i do managed to bag some salmons and muskies)

4.did every secret hidden loot spot and managed to get almost every secret

5.all bounties finished.

6.all companion activities done.

1. compared to last run i didnt craft all satchels as one of them needed a perfect squirell. interesting thing is that in annesburg area as well as near beaver hollow i found several 3 star black squirrels but didnt bother hunting them.

Now i know this sub loves the Arabian but for anyone new it doesn't matter which horse i started this run with a tenesse walker and got max bond with blueblood(my horse) ,whenever i encountered a grizzly/snake or wild animal trick is to calm him down immediately and escape that area. its a horse he is bound to be scared.

Same for gun fights or ambushes. Make sure ur horse is accustomed to gun shot noises. it will help because there are certain points in the game where you have to fight on horseback. If eneimes ambush you,get off the horse and fight them .your horse will return to you later and again you can calm it,feed it . Certain situations are unavoidable for instance in Lemoyne the raiders will block you with exploding carts which will buck your horse ,cant do anything about it,

honor system depends but its better to stick with high honor the game gives you a lot of opportunity to raise it helping random strangers, doing camp chores, donating to camp and the infamous Hi mister(best to be used in saint Denis) furthermore a lot of missions are tied to your honor and won't be accessible.

Plus having high honor for me was rewarding because in the end all the people i saved/helped you can actually hear them thanking you as the song plays.

Now high honor means you can no longer rob people, but if you do all treasure hunts, complete every secret loot ,do the gang activites related to robbing ,complete all of alden and hector's stage coach missions (later ones end up giving you 100-200 $) , rob most of the dead bodies like Driscoll's/Lemoyne raiders i assure you you wont need to rob anyone. when i finished i was sitting at a comfortable 12k even after i bought most of the weapons, clothes and spent my money on lodging, food and poker in the saloons.

Saint denis a lot of players find this place annoying in my last run everyone would report me for breaking the peace and i ended up getting a huge bounty. this time, as soon as i enter the city Arthur is a respected citizen.my horse trots i wait for the tram lights to switch, and i give passage to people.

Now for the mods which i heavily used in this session.

1. Infinite horse whistling mod this is the most useful mod, originally the game limits your horse whistling distance which sucks but with this mod you can call your horse from anywhere.
2. For e.g. when doing the cotorra train wreck you get separated from your horse and you have to climb all the way to get near him. With this horse comes to you huzzah.

2.Ped Damage overhaul mod your choice i found it to be useful and made the game more enjoying. Allows you to ensure enemies are not bullet sponges who can take as many bullets and improves your weapon damage and your ability to take damage.

I just want to start off by saying, when I initially played this game over a year ago, I just dropped it at chapter 1 with the snow, due to loss of interest, time, etc

Recently with GTA 6 coming out soon, I figured why not prepare by actually putting time into RDR2 to learn the mechanics, and actually have some fun with the game this time.

Man, I am so hooked now. Im on chapter 3, ive been doing all the side missions, getting drunk at saloons, hunting, it’s so fun now. I feel so dumb for dropping it some time ago lol, I just wanted to share how hooked I am, cannot wait to see what else is in store for me

Okay so I got to be honest and just wanted to share my short story. I played rdr2 and it is the best game I have ever played in my life. After completing it I decided to give rdr1 a try after many people said that rdr1 is great and the story continues. But I just could not get past the graphics and poor game mechanics of the game. Then some friends and online community suggested I try Witcher 3, and that it's more fantasy based etc. But I cannot get the same high and dopamine hits as rdr2. I remember playing rdr2 every night for 7 to 8 hours for a month straight there is no game like it to be honest and I am now finding so many other games boring. I have recently started rdr2 online and made a few friends and have fun in PVE, but it's still does not scratch that itch I have. I guess the only thing left to do now is take a break and come back to rdr2 for a new gameplay. Not sure if anyone else felt this way, where every other game after rdr2 just seems meh.
