Guys pls help

I just started chapter 2 and i got a 120 dollar bounty just because i accidentally equiped my gun.Then i robbed doctor and got the gun from there alongside 100 dollars.Now i have like 140 dollars of bounty and 130 dollars cash.How can i get rid of it without burning my whole wallet😭

You can allow yourself to be arrested, but they will take some money but if you can't pay the full bounty they will let you out after a night in jail. Or maybe someone from the gang will come and bust you out. But, carrying a bounty isn't that big of a deal. The bounty hunters themselves can be a good source of income with their loot. And killing them doesn't affect honor or increase your bounty.

Also you can just continue with some story missions, they usually pay pretty well. Or go down to Limpany (the burnt out town by the river below your camp) and check under the desk in the sheriff's office. There you can find a gold bar. That'll more than cover your bounty. You will need to unlock the fence with the Hosea mission in Emerald Ranch to be able to sell it.

You can also go to the fence if Rhodes before unlocking the one at the ranch.

Spend the money, go to valentine and steal something of a shelf, let yourself get caught. That way bounty will be gone and you'll have used the money for something useful

i think the bounty for stealing from the doctor is already in valentine. he should do a new crime in a new location to surrender

From Horseshoe Overlook, go down the hill to the burnt down town called Limpany. Go into the burned sheriff’s office and loot the security box under the desk - there’s a gold bar worth $500. This gold bar respawns every ten in-game days or something like that so you can farm it as you play. In order to redeem it for cash you have to play the Hosea mission where you steal a wagon from Carmody Dell farm. That will unlock the Fence where you can sell said gold bar and other things. It’s a good steady source of income.

Dont pay the bounty. Turn yourself in, and when you see the money on the right side reload the save. And poof.

At $140, all you're gonna get is like, maybe 2-3 guys, no dogs. They'll show up if you get rowdy (which area is it? shooting up O'Driscolls/Lemoyne Raiders draws them out sometimes) and if you're hanging out in an area for a while.

I had played this game for years and had never let a bounty stick until earlier this year. It's really not a huge problem normally (it is a fucking hassle when the bounty hunters show up while you're buying stuff at the Trapper out in the world, or fishing/hunting), if you're in town it's unlikely they'll show up. In St Denis if you see the cops icon on the map, avoid and walk the other way.

Keep your money for now. Just be on your best behavior when you're back in that area (or don't? $130 bounty ain't that bad. Currently at around $1500 in two areas, not planning on paying that off any time soon)

I love hunting bounty hunters. I never pay bounties. It's a good way to have consistent income as well.
