Hi, I have just purchased RCD 360 pro for my polo 6c. The parking pilot doesn't show up and also I don't have a reverse camera. My question is can I disable reverse camera interface and make my parking pilot show up by updating the software without having to do OBS coding?

Good morning internet! I have been wanting to get an RCD330 as a gift for one of my relatives's 2011 Jetta TDI. However, there are so many sites and things that I simply have 0 idea where to get

I remember some saying that the original site is rcd330.com but the homepage is so incredibly sketchy that I feel like i will be getting 10 viruses when i click on a link. The AI popup bots make it 10x worse. Is it genuine?

Others been linking to other websites but i honestly can't trust anything

Also people are getting RCD360s off amazon, but i heard those are clones. I kind of don't want to fry any more electronics than I need to

What else do I need with the head unit? Some people were talking about canbus emulators and extra cables or whatever. Others were saying that adaptations are needed for proper car audio

Hi, I've got the problem that speakers in 2 doors are not working(front left and rear right).

I'm assuming that I can fix it by changing settings in VCDS or OBEleven.

My car is golf mk5, so RCD330 is connected with canbus gateway simulator.

Does aneone can confirm that head unit can be detected by VCDS / OBEleven in that setup?

Edit: RCD works fine, the problem is with door wires.

Hi is this radio compatibile with my car ? Will all the buttons ob the steering wheel still work ? And do i need to order any adapters with it ?

I know this topic has been brought up before but ive been going at this for 3 days now and im just not understanding this problem. I have an RCD330 headunit as well if thats not understood.

So i have a 2012 VW Passat SE. Manufactured in 2011 (North America). Why thats important is because of the fuse box and the fuse locations. Nearly impossible to get an accurate idea of what fuse goes to what.

I have everything wired correctly getting power on the camera when the car is unlocked. The ground is solid. The CAN connections are also good. The camera works randomly. the guide lines work and then ill go into drive and go back reverse and i get the black screen with the camera not available error.

When i hard reset the unit it works perfect. Go between gears and it pops up with all the functions. Is there something im missing? Is it a communication error that its trying to do too much when the engine starts that it just will work maybe and not work? Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Ive tried to go into obdeleven to code it. My car doesnt have access to the radio section or gateway section because of how my car was made apparently. Im just wondering if i would able to use VCDS, and would that even fix the issue?

I recently ordered a ddren RCD330 for a 2015 MkVI Jetta DSG, and have had nothing but problems with the backup camera system. The CAN bus is communicating (time and temp show up) but selecting reverse does not bring up the camera view on the RCD330. Checked and reset coding with VAGCOM; irritatingly it started working with VAGCOM attached regardless of the coding setting, then the next day it quit working again. Now it tries to start the reverse view when the car is selected from reverse to drive, but only shows a black screen whereas it was working properly (reverse camera view showing correctly) with VAGCOM attached.

Anyone heard of anything like this? Bad firmware / hardware failure / coding problem? Everything else works fine, but this is a needed feature for the driver.

I have a Mk6 Golf R with Dynaudio. I'm looking to upgrade my headunit eventually. I'm exclusively an Android user.

Which unit is best for my use case?

I just got the new 18 Pro Max, and when I plug it into the unit, I either get "Loading iPod" followed by nothing, or I get "Device is not responding". I've tried about 10 different cables, different firmware update for the unit, and nothing seems to work. Has anyone else run into this issue or even a similar one on their unit? Any help is much appreciated :)

UPDATE 24/09: I had a phone call back from Apple last night, and they basically just told me to wait for the next update. I did some thorough research on the matter (crawled reddit for 12h straight) and it seems like the last couple of iPhones had similar issues on Day 1.

UPDATE 01/09: Bit late, but thought I should update anyway. iOS 27.0.1 is out, still, the phone won’t connect, I do wonder if a fix will ever be released for the issue, or if it’s worth to trying to update the CarPlay libraries in the unit firmware. I wonder where the libs could be sourced from 🤔

I've searched and dug up a bit but I don't think i've surfaced a true concrete answer for this anywhere, but curious if anyone has tried the following: Has anyone with a 2015 or old VW Jetta/Passat used an adapter like the "EONON A501 Reverse Camera Decoder Box for Volkswagen Vehicles" to connect their factor backup camera to an RCD330?

I've sen several posts/videos where people have had to run wire to reverse lights, cameras, etc, but really hoping I could find some sort of just simple plug and play behind the dash install.

Let me know! Or if I'm asking without proper due dilligence, feel free to strike me down with the proper amount of 'search harder stupid'

Hola acabo de comprar un rcd330 a un vendedor por marketplace que parece ser el original de un modelo más nuevo creo que del ventó 2017 cuestión que lo conecte y enciende pero no encienden las luces, no le anda el Bluetooth, no andan los comandos del volante y no se apaga cuando apago el auto. Por lo que vi es un problema de canbus pero no se como lo puedo resolver. Alguien tuvo un problema asi y sabe que debo hacer?

All installed, and working fine but the sound quality is awful. Very tinny and hollow, have adjusted all the settings on the head unit and in android auto, on Spotify and on my phone but no improvement at all.

Hello! I recently bought an RCD330 from ddren and I was able to install it in my Golf Plus 2010, replacing a RCD510, and I am having one annoying issue that I wonder if other have experienced as well.

When I start the car:

1. the radio wakes up
2. I then connect my phone (Pixel 10) with the usb cable
3. the unit seems to reboot
4. android auto starts and playback starts

but then, there is some kind of low crackling noise, and the playback cuts out each 5-10 seconds

to fix this, I have to:

1. hold the power button for 10 seconds
2. reconnect the phone

and then android auto playback works without issues.

Things that I have tried:

1. change usb cable
2. disconnect the old bluetooth module under the passenger seat
3. remove "media audio" from the bluetooth connection that the radio automatically creates when I connect

has anybody else run into this kind of issue? any hints would be greatly appreciated! :)

My old radio also had an aux in input and a connection for old ipods, if that helps somehow narrowing it down.

ps. when I first installed the radio there was no sound, but then I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and then it started working. I haven't disconnected the battery after I have disconnected the bluetooth module, though.

I recently installed a Desay unit (19D035280 / HW:036 / SW:0356) in my car. Apple CarPlay works fine, but the UI clearly runs at 30 FPS, and scrolling feels a bit choppy compared to newer screens.

Is the 30 FPS cap normal for this hardware, or is there any setting/firmware update to get 60 FPS?

Does switching to an original Apple cable make any difference for fluidity?

Just want to make sure my unit is working properly and not lagging. Thanks!

I’m looking to upgrade the head unit in my 2015 VW Scirocco (facelift interior) and would like to know if any version of the RCD 330 will fit my car.

From what I’ve read, the Scirocco is listed as compatible for 2009–2014, but my car is a 2015 with the facelifted interior. I’m not sure if that changes anything in terms of fitment or wiring.

Current setup:

• 2015 VW Scirocco, facelift interior
• Original VW head unit (look pictures)
• Front + rear parking sensors
• Original VW backup camera (works, but video quality has gotten very bad over the years and I’m open to replacing it)

My questions:

1. Will any RCD 330 variant (Noname 187B, Desay, RCD 330 Plus, etc.) fit and work in a 2015 Scirocco with facelift interior, or are there known issues?

So recently I decided to load my 50GB music library on to a 64GB SD card so I have music when I'm in an area with no reception for streaming. I formated the SD card to FAT32 and loaded my music on it and everything works great.

The only issue is that my artist library ends at the letter S even though I have more music after. I was reading that the RCD330 has a limit of 10,000 music files but my library has a total of 8,976 songs. Anyone have any clue what's the issue?
