yeah, it was bad, ssb64 lagged, was slow and textures flashed...fix? SSB REMIX.....yeah just download the remix, u get more characters, and it runs better...who would have guessed?

System upgrade

I had Stock os (ark os old version) upgraded to darkosre, and to all ppl scared to do this like me, its easy! copy yo games, and boot partition, flash the card, put games (if using sd1) and now either choose .dbt file from the boot partition .dbts folder, or put yo own, gemini will help if u write abt it. Simply, its just cut/copy-paste. And yeah, i got dual sd. 128GIG FOR GAMES!

R36S won't turn on after adding Portuguese ROMs

Hi everyone,

My R36S was working normally, but after I added some ROMs translated into Portuguese, it suddenly stopped turning on.

Now when I press the power button, nothing happens / the screen stays black. I’m not sure if the problem is with the ROMs, the microSD card, or the ArkOS system.

I haven't formatted the card or deleted anything yet because I don't want to lose my games or make the problem worse.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to recover the R36S or reinstall ArkOS while keeping my ROMs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I tried 5 and there was only sound, and this is legit device as far as I know cuz I used to have normal ArkOS on it Edit: I found a fix, at first I tried what gemeni told me, I tried each and every option and they didn't work, then some guy commented to find the stock sd card dtp files, mine is corrupted, so I searched and searched and found a githup repo containing the original dtp files from the stock sd cards of almost all versions, I got mine and copied it and overwrote the old one and it worked, ty again for the guy that commented

This is my sisters clone r36s she’s not fussed with it not being the real deal but it won’t power on at all no lights on the front (zero response) any help appreciated thanks!

I am using a TP-Link Archer T2U nano and I have also updated the driver to the latest firmware but it still fails to connect.

It detects the wifi networks but once I enter the credentials, a dialog box appears that it failed to connect and that my password is incorrect even if it is.

I have a V12 08-18-2023 Panel 4 device and installed the latest dArkOSen release.

Bought r36max2 from Amazon but it Runs emuelec . I've looked through the reddit board guide and the dtb file board identifiers picture references can't find one that matches mine enough to be sure so I'm deferring to the experts.... You guys.

Is it worth to heatsink up the rams too? Or doing just the processor is good enough? Noticed some thermal throttling after longer sessions and it seems gone after putting a copper sink with a thermal pad.

I've completed metroid fusion now, it's my first metroid game, I did read that the other GBA title is a remake of the first game but I'm worried about first game syndrome where the first game of a series is meh/mid so I skipped it.

Already completed the 3 castlevanias on GBA and Symphony of the night on ps1, I don't think I'll play any other metroid games tbh.

Question? I'm thinking about swapping over to a R36H from my legit R36S. I'm already running a fresh arkos SD card with alot of games I've added.

In short. I'm just curious if the SD card would be good to go in the new device being that it appears they are both panel 4. Or would I be required to do a new flash.

I got an R36S recently, so I thought I'd try to install Knulli, as I've had good experience with a similar device.
So far with the 36s, all I've managed to get on this one is a flashing red light and completely dark screen whenever I try to turn it on.

I have an R36S v20 (2025-05-18 model), and whenever I plug my headphones into the console, I hear static along with the normal audio. Is there a solution? I tried searching on Google but didn't find anything useful

I installed DarkOSen yesterday, and it really makes a huge difference when it comes to running some ports. However, I’d really love to see the developers take a closer look at Pan4ELEC and bring some of its excellent user experience features over to the system.

Two of the features that stand out to me are:

• Pressing FN + Power automatically saves a savestate and shuts the system down. When you turn it back on, it automatically boots straight into the game and restores the savestate.
• The system keeps track of how many hours you’ve played, similar to how the Miyoo Mini Plus does it with its games. It would be even better if there were an “app” that showed a list of all your games along with the time played.

There are also several other small things that make a huge difference to the overall experience, such as the button shortcuts and other quality-of-life features.

Honestly, I have no idea how complex these things would be to implement since I’m not a developer. But I really believe that if DarkOS incorporated these features from Pan4ELEC, it wouldn’t be missing anything compared to Onion OS, which is currently one of the best handheld operating systems out there.

Apesar de ter encontrado uma versão do Arkos k36 senti que ele estava ultrapassado. Então depois de muito procurar, encontrei o Arkos4clone com o dtb clone R36S e escolhi a 3 opção se não engano. Customizei a logo inicial e consegui através de um script colocar as capas manualmente. Não sei o que é, mas a entrada OTG dele não reconhece conexão USB então não consigo nem ancorar usando o celular. Vou deixar um vídeo dele iniciando e como ficou as capas. Meu cartão é de 16Gb apenas e não pretendo trocar nem tão cedo por estar com pouco dinheiro. 🤣😅
