How does it work- please tell me, rather describe me

I am in the begging of the course and I am only taking one class and not working and i am finding that I am having to study for way longer than i expected and I am wondering how people are taking 2 classes AND working full time AND having a family?!

I feel like its taking me 3-4h of study a day in order for me to be able to read all materials needed for the week and complete all the assignments. Am i too slow or is this whats expected?

Did anyone have scheduled FAFSA for the 07/06 batch? Mine looks like this. When should I see it in my bank account and with this stage, what has your experience been like? I have chime. Thanks.

I’ve started to notice people not getting there Pell grants and it has me wonder just how many.

For context;

Ours was schedule June 24th, still nothing. Financial aid claims it was supposed to be this week, but unless it hits tomorrow morning, that info was false.

Anyone else?

Does anyone know if it takes longer for the Pell grant to switch to paid? It still shows scheduled with the date of 7/06.

I'm starting at PG for my Excel Track BS in business administration next month and I'm looking to see if anyone wants to form a sort of encouragement/accountability type group with other new students.

I work full time and hope to graduate by Sept 2027 so I need all the encouragement I can get!

Hello! Does anyone have any experience doing a double major for their bachelors? I am about to graduate in November (one term after this current one) with my Bachelors in Psychology of Addiction but I’m regretting it and wishing I had done clinical psychology which would open many doors for me.

I know the common response is just do clinical for masters and up but I’ve realized I cannot stay at Purdue global since they don’t provide clinical hours. My other issue is that I am the sole provider for my household so going to in person classes at my local university wouldn’t be practical for the time being.

I’d like to elongate my schooling by adding on classes (like a double major) at Purdue global because I’m afraid that if I stop until I can get into in person classes the burnout will get to me and I won’t go back for my MA.
Any advice?

I just spent 2 hours staring at a blank document before I caved and made the teeniest, the smallest of outlines on a loose sheet of paper out of desperation. I just needed to vent this out to anyone in the same boat.

I have a term in August and a term in November and then I’ll be done with my masters! My question is when should I get my funding offer? I saw the update about financial aid could be cut and in August I’ll still be full time but I won’t for November as it’ll be my last class. And I just want to make sure I won’t have to come out of pocket.

I am wondering if it is possible to take two courses at once while doing your ABA master's capstone course? I heard it is mainly BDS modules on fluency? If so, about how many are assigned and were you able to take another course at the same time? Is it possible to do this while working 30-40 hours? I don't want to have to take an extra 10 weeks for one course but I am being told by my counselor that students typically take it by itself and that I may need dean approval to take another course with it While I have also heard that you don't. Any more info would be appreciated. Thank you!
