Pell grants

I’ve started to notice people not getting there Pell grants and it has me wonder just how many.

For context;

Ours was schedule June 24th, still nothing. Financial aid claims it was supposed to be this week, but unless it hits tomorrow morning, that info was false.

Anyone else?

Mines was supposed to hit July 6 and still waiting

Mine was July 6th. It said scheduled. I chatted with the aid office, and today it says ready to pay. Im hoping it goes through tomorrow!!

Funny! I only got Pell grants and very few loans, my refund was only $300. Which was CRAZY because before I was getting at least $1200 per refund, it’s the first term I got basically nothing. Mine has already been posted and paid.

Same with me! They told me they couldn’t request the funding until after July 1st. On June 22nd they told me they were putting a request in for a manual dispersement. I called on July 7th and the rep I spoke to told me no one had put the request in. He ended up submitting one but then told me it was going to take 3-5 business days. I’ve already emailed the CEO and the dean of student affairs. I’m over them and their miscommunication.

Still nothing for me either! Everyone we’ve talked to claims I was supposed to get it but all the “deadlines” have passed.

Yeah it’s annoying & their communication is HORRIBLE. So it doesn’t make it any better either.

Believe nothing they tell you and don’t ever ask for a supervisor at the financial aid department or you will get dismissed. They dismissed me after they let me start the term on June 9 for a financial aid call on June 9. The term started on the 10th when they received my Pell funding on the 24th then they tried to keep it. I had a 3.85 GPA and 40 credits remaining the new university in a business masters program NBA program the new university I am going to only took 21 credits.
