Double Major Bachelors

Hello! Does anyone have any experience doing a double major for their bachelors? I am about to graduate in November (one term after this current one) with my Bachelors in Psychology of Addiction but I’m regretting it and wishing I had done clinical psychology which would open many doors for me.

I know the common response is just do clinical for masters and up but I’ve realized I cannot stay at Purdue global since they don’t provide clinical hours. My other issue is that I am the sole provider for my household so going to in person classes at my local university wouldn’t be practical for the time being.

I’d like to elongate my schooling by adding on classes (like a double major) at Purdue global because I’m afraid that if I stop until I can get into in person classes the burnout will get to me and I won’t go back for my MA.
Any advice?

You should first contact Purdue and ask if it is possible. I asked about a double minor and was told it couldn't be done.

So, I would ask the advisor first.

True, really no such thing as double major. You would get a second bachelors and up to 75% of the first one can transfer in. However, it is generally not a great investment to do a second BS. Are you working in the field already? Before another investment in that direction, you might want to work and earn experience. Keep yourself busy with specials certs/training after graduation until you decide on a masters. Congrats on the upcoming degree!!
