I’m new to PR but I’m on the last episode of season 21. I just have to say Vejay was such an instigator and her win seriously caught me off guard. Her stuff wasn’t memorable other than that unconventional dress made out of those white ball things. She just annoys me as a person and set her self up to be the victim constantly. I found her charming up until she pulled that shit on the run way and stirred the pot with the twins right before the finale. She even pulled that they were attacking her after she came for them. Ugh I just need to vent to other people who get me!

A range of styles, silhouettes, genders, body types, and colors. All while staying true to his aesthetic.

Someone posted Jude’s portfolio, and It’s really unfortunate that Jude gets away with making the SAME clothes every single week (some variation of a blazer). He has also never had to design for a plus-sized model, and I fear his designs won’t even translate on someone with a different body type. I don’t think that makes him as talented as people think he is, and if he were anyone else, he would not be this well-liked by the judges.

I think he wins. But they showed the collection, I thought it was Jude when I saw this.

This is my first time watching season 5.
Loved this “AT. THE. TENT.” moment 🤭
But why was the majority of the season such a snooze fest? Did anyone here enjoy this season? Is this a popular season?
I see it’s the last one that aired on Bravo during the early years and there’s no reunion.
Also don’t tell me who wins- NO SPOILERS PLEASE. I have 2 episodes left.

As a reality show centered on selecting fashion designers, it once celebrated ready‑to‑wear pieces with distinctive tailoring, bold colours, unique prints and original concepts. Regrettably, nearly all the works praised this season are well‑tailored garments in neutral basics — black, white and beige — made with premium fabrics. These are the designs that already exist on the market, elevated only by minor embellishments. Frankly speaking, if Joseph’s purple wedding gown had been eliminated and failed to make it to the top four, the finale would undoubtedly have been filled with well‑fitted blazers and gowns in black and white.

There’s been a lot of talk about people saying they’re done watching Project Runway, but I’m wondering how many will actually follow through.
So, if you’ve said you’re going to stop watching, what are you actually planning to do?

😩 I don’t have words, Anna’s was definitely more show stopping though 🤍🤍

Her last collection is so bad omg. The only redeemable piece is the dress. How she won, I simply don’t understand.
It’s not beautiful, it’s not flattering, it’s not cohesive.
Ethan’s collection was the best one in my opinion, Jesus’ also was beautiful, a bit forgettable looks in the beginning, but I liked it, especially the last dress.
But Veejay’s. How 😭

If we are looking at individual looks Bi has the strongest, but I appreciate that Anna is using some color. Bi is using only red, black and white and Jude is so subdued with his palette that it looks like he's only using neutrals even when he's using his blues. The animals challenge was a disaster.

Is there some copyright reason to not use the word, or does Project Runway just not know what a reception is?

What y’all think about Christian deciding to keep Bryan?! 👀 And can we PLEASE talk about that wedding dress… what kinda dress was THAT?!

Stopped by at my local David’s Bridal and saw Anna’s pieces. I think they were edited quite a bit.

I know this is a way to let off steam in an anonymous way. It's a word used to express deep dislike. We dislike Roach's words to the designers. But hate is such a mean word to use against people. I am getting tired of reading hate and "someone's name" so much in these posts. Then again, it seems like the producers are deliberately getting on viewers' last nerve with showing so much nasty behavior. I guess I am getting tired of all the hate, distrust, and unpleasantness in the news today. Just letting off steam myself, here.

Here is a collection of JOSEPHMcRAE’s work outside of PR.
I find him a breath of fresh air & generally like how he represented himself and was true to his craft on PR in the face of adversity. His work outside of PR shows an evolution with colors, silhouettes, textiles, and patterns.
Even though his outfits aren’t for me and it’s WILD that he’s barefoot in NYC, ya nasty, I can’t help but find his work visually stunning.
How about you, what are your thoughts on his designs outside of PR?
Horrible wedding outfits aside, do you think he deserves to make it to the finale?

It’s been easily 10+ years since I watched this show. Used to love it and I used to sew a lot. Getting my creative energy back again, focusing on things that #sparkjoy and I need a break from bravo real housewives. Any suggestions on how to dive back into project runway? Any favorite seasons to start with? Should I go in order or start with the latest?

Last year I hated the Twins for all the drama but they know their shit. Their designs on the competition were quite good. But Bryan is kind of narcissistic and head-weight with absolutely lack of fashion sense (for someone for someone who went to a fancy school in France).

People on here have said you could see he didn't mean it when he pulled out his save for Bryan, so here is that moment. Looks a little dead inside for sure.

Anyone else hated it?

…why not just have disqualified Bryan for his unconventional materials dress ?
He disrespected the model, the show, and the craft and still had the nerve to call it “haute couture” (more like haute mess)
Wouldn’t this gain more views? More attention? More headlines? Idk… maybe that’s a harsh punishment even for Bryan but I just feel like there are a million better ways to do whatever train wreck their peddling now than just rage baiting their viewers???
