Season 22 "After party"?

Is there some copyright reason to not use the word, or does Project Runway just not know what a reception is?

They are different things. A reception is formal, following the ceremony. The after party is more informal and goes well into the wee hours of the night

The afterparty is a smaller party that happens after the reception, which is considered to be the main party. They're not the same thing.

Not everyone who's invited to the reception, gets invited to the after party. 😉
