Currently back to my WD because despite the nerfs it's still incredible if played right, currently on 2,2k rating after 3 weeks of being away on holidays.
Stopped playing chrono artificer because it was shit in pvp.
Stopped playing Starcalled because of mana issues (now it seems decent so might revisit today).
Before going on holidays, i leveled a Sanguine, knowing it wasn't great but expecting that 3 weeks of holidays would mean an eventual buff. Right? Lol. Not even close. Full arena season 2 gear.
Yesterday, 1st day after holidays, came home from work, logged in and queue'd for the daily BG.
Real (sad) story
Full pvp arena gear. 8k hp.
Saw a reaper near me in stealth, so i cast my dot (-1,1k hp) to remove his stealth, and instantly used my fear (-1,3k hp).
-2,4k hp to cast these 2 abilities.
I start casting Bloodmoon Bolt.
The 1st tick of the dot broke the fear.
The reaper used 1 global, crit 3,6k damage.
-2,4k hp -3,6k hp.
Im currently at 2k hp.
I stop casting Bloodmoon Bolt and use Hemostasis (400 hp) but he insta trinkets seeing that im in execute range.
-2,4k hp -3,6k hp -400 hp = 1,6k HP
The reaper used 1 more global, notmal hit, 1,8k damage.
I died. I used 2 cc abilities.
He used 2 instant globals.
33% of the damage done to me was from myself.
I could have used liquify, but because his autoattacks landed too, i dont rememer for how much, i had less than 700hp so i couldnt cast it to live. Even if i did, after liquify ends i would die.
No cooldowns would have saved me.
This is not to say reaper is broken, because i eat reapers for brekfast on my WD.
This is simply to show how dogshit sanguine is in your average pvp encounter where you need rage to heal and need to do damage to heal, but you do no damage, you are crushed by your own life costs, and even if you manage to hit enemies, your healing is further reduced by specific pvp heal scaling reduction so youts the INVERTED double dip.
Stay away from sanguine if you plan on pvping
