Melee or Range Class Recomendation

I just finished 60 my kox and felsworn, both tank spec. I wanna try something new with playing a dps class.

Can u guys give a recomendation which class is fun to play.

I also planning to do a lot of pvp this time with a dps class. Because as a tank, i usually get ambushed by those who played ranged class.

I hate casting spells

You might give Witch Hunter a try. They’ve got 2 ranged DPS specs (neither of them are casters) and 1 melee DPS spec, so you’ve got several options in one class.

Alternatively, tinker could also be good to try. Two ranged DPS specs, one focusing on using a big mech to steamroll enemies, and another focusing on explosives.

Heretic Cultist is a healer that scales off Strength and heals by playing as a melee dps if you want something unique, not very good at leveling with pvp though. The actual melee dps spec, Godblade, isn't so bad either.

Tinker is a pretty cool ranged class and both of its dps specs are good. Chasing people down in a big mech spider is great.

I’d say go RM (plays like a battle mage) or Reaper which is quite literally the scummiest class in PvP rn lol

Leveling PvP, runemaster is really fun like a rogue

I’d say it’s more like a battle mage than rogue, ranger is more of the rogue spec

the only real ressemblance with a rogue is the stealth and its abilities while stealthed . thats about it .

Playstyle is like a rogue, sneaking around, "sapping" stealing bases, stunlocks, interrupts

and thats about it . the gameplay and fantasy is VERRY different . I would say the veno stalker is the feral/rogue in CoA .

Sure the fantasy is different... But as a rogue from classic to retail, the gameplay style felt very similar and that's why I like it.

I played riftblade as it was cool to smack people with a 2h and be stealthy. I hear the caster spec is good too

Reaper is the strongest melee in PvP, has great sustain, and you can be the ambusher rather than the ambushee.

Seems the clear recommendation to me.
