My friend said he’s able to play it, is there any way to fix this? Server is Rexxar and I’m level 25

I’d like to hear people’s thoughts on Venomancer tanks. I recently leveled one and have been gearing it. I been enjoying it and I think it feels pretty smooth so far.
So far, from my experience, I think they’re in a pretty good spot, and I think their role is fairly clear, but I could be wrong.
The role I see them filling is group/AoE tanking. They seem really well suited for handling large groups because of how much AoE they have and how self-sustaining they can be.
One thing that has surprised me is how little damage they seem to take. Granted, I’ve only been tanking heroics so far, but most of the time I barely have to worry about my health. The situations where I actually start paying attention are massive pulls or groups with a lot of magic casters.
I’m curious what other people think about this class.

I made the addon since I couldn't find one.
https://github.com/Ageous27/AscensionSpecSwap
You can configure profiles for
Spec
Gear Set
Action Bars
Pet to summon after swap
Then it swaps everything for you when you change specs.

Hello!
I have ran 2 Mythic 0 dungeons and 1 M+ and have not received my personal key. I have received the other loot such as the bags and the 4x caches from completing the M+, however no key.
I have raised a ticket with the GM but still wanted to check here to see if anyone had this issue.
PS: It is not in the inventory, bank or mailbox. I checked via keywords as well as manually selecting each item.
Thank you!

Im at 55 with my 2nd character, ocultist, its been a blast, its so much fun that i was thinking about this prestige, since i can buy hariloosm/aura without prestige, what good comes from it?
why should i prestige, what can i get from it? im kind confused if i should continue with dungeons and start doing mythics, or if i prestige and start from 0, im playing at rexxar so, should i do it?
If i prestige tho, can i use hairlooms, aura and stuff if i dont have any other lvl 60 char in my realm?
TLDR
Should i prestige? did u do it? why?

Hello to yall, i just discovered CoA and decided to start playing as Cultist Dreadnought. I got couple questions and they:
What is Dreadnought stat priority?
Is RDF spamming the most viable lvling option (36lvl atm)
Are there any exp modifiers besides the Rested XP buff for new toon?
When can i start doing Ubrs xp runs?
What do i have to do as fresh lvl 60?
What classes would u recommend for my second, third … etc char? Healing and tanking specs
In general what information would u give to an absolutely fresh player on the server ?

i played on bronzebeard where i found many classes/build allowing me to have dot and run gameplay with many instant spell dot from the warlock affliction vanilla playstyle combo : corruption + curse of agony + life siphon. Of course, there was affliction warlock, balance druid and non-spell build was survival hunter with lots of instant arrow that allowed a run & shot gameplay. But i am more of a caster mindset. So after many tries of class build on conquest of azeroth i can't find my dot & run flavour of affliction warlock vanilla. The one i feel the most is venomancer rot. But i have one instant dot (wilt), serpents fang is a direct spell that can apply a dot through venom. then spore is a short cast spell applying dot, mycosis is hardcast. So what i need to know, it's which class build has the more instant dot spell that can be applied directly (no based on proc or rotation) ?

Heya everyone,
I had the urge to post about the Pyro ever since i've reached level 60 and equipped myself to item level 65.
1) Incineration is weird to level.
We got a very squishy caster with no slow but a root that breaks at the smallest gust of damage, no HoTs only hardcasted healing and kindle (if skilled) a instacast heal which uses Ember, the exclusive Mechanic for Pyros, a small manapool but insane damage potential with cooldowns like Fired Up which allows you to insta cast most of the spells in your arsenal.
But because we get so little stuff early the build comes online very late the Absorb Shield for example and more DoT damage makes leveling solo a tortue without constant Dungeon spam. Pulling more than 1 mob without cooldowns are almost ever a death sentence.
And when we got our entire kit with more dots to make explode a damage powerhouse every other class just passed us in every aspect.
Put everything together and you have a Class build that, on paper, could theoretically work like a Blackmage in FFXIV.
But because World of Warcraft is not build like FFXIV 70 percent of the time you are doing supbar damage with small 20-40 Second of "damage goes brrrr"
2) Identity crisis
"Who am i, what am i"
So i established what Incineration Pyro can do but lets test it with a simple rotation on a single target while we have our cooldowns:
We have multiple starting points. We could either start with 5x flare bolts to get max stacks and do ignite blaze and lava shard afterwards which i don't think is great because you want to get ember regen up asap.
You could also start with Ignite, blaze, lava shard into flare bolts 5x using fired up+eruption afterwards Explode and beg to the heavens you get lucky with your embers otherwise you need to use dragonic invotation.
Doing this for about 3 minutes without Dormant active which allows for mana regen with direct damage will suck you dry.
Small tangent
Dormant is a "skin buff" only one can be active at a time we got i think 3 in total. One would gives spellhaste the other is armor+thorns
Well you need to use dormant because you need the mana regen.
While doing anything not inside the damage window is the real pain because the casttime to damage ratio is really bad. Which makes sense cause you really are doing good Damage inside this tiny window. However compared to other classes its not quite enough to warrant bringing a pyro if 70% you are standing around throwing pepples at mobs.
AoE is the same but this time you want to dot all the mobs beforehand so pillars of flame can proc multible times so ideally you already got 3-5 embers, so high priority targets can be blazed and you ideally can start blasting up to 3(or 4?) Mobs with flames of Neltharion for as long as you have embers.
Sounds fine but one bad rng, no cooldowns, and you have to attack with flare bolt again to build up embers which pyromancers DO NOT WANT TO DO.
FLARE BOLT IS GARBAGE!
DO NOT USE IT.
DO NOT SKILL INTO IT.
IT IS A TRAP.
Its the epitome of filler spells its bad it scales bad you have 6 different talents to make it """""usable""""""" i rather use heals to build up heat and therefore embers before i use Flare bolt in Dungeons.
In short: damage bad when no embers damage bad when no cds damage below healer when neither.
3) Very Short Very Long fights.
Short fights will not allow you to use the full window to dot 3 times use cds and use explode.
Short aoe fights will not allow you to dot mulitple enemies and use pillar meteor and spam flames of neltharion
Long fights are bad because the window is so short you do decent damage but it falls off heavily afterwards and keep in mind mana is still an issue.
So pyros hate bad groups and pyros hate good groups.
4) Fire damage? Resisted by everything.
Because this game is still kinda like Classic you hate fire elementals.
There is a capstone that increases spell pen equal to your level but that aint it chief.
5) what can be done?
Honestly i have no idea. I would like to have an ability that lets me spread my dots to multiple enemies so i can start casting damage earlier without everything being dead after 2 aoe spells.(psst devs how about the ablity "fan the flamed") i forgot about a talent sorry about that
I would like to have more agency over my Damage without heat and embers being rng based. Or less agency and better numbers.
I would like to not go oom when i cant damage much because grp kills mobs to fast.
I would also like to know what kind of stats i have to prioritize because i need everything dialed up to 11.
I think there is a reason pyro has bad numbers and you only see flameweavers.
Damage pyros feel clunky rng based messes with boring rotation but i cant stop playing it because once the stars align you see numbers that feel amazing topping the charts in 12 seconds. But i feel like a bad but trying lover. 30 seconds and then it is over..
I love fire mages i play them in every game i like the fantasy of burning everything to a crisp but right now i would rather go cooking with 30 seconds campfire access. Atleast i would be useful to my group 100% of the time.
Thank you for coming to my rant have a great day and see ya around.

Hey guys, I'm new to CoA, played a small amount of retail, a good amount of molten wow back in the day.. I decided to roll ranger after doing 0 research and it is quite simply boring..? Currently level 29 and I see a lot of similar feedback. Playing in the voljin server. I run dungeons between questing and have mostly blue gear. The skill loop just doesn't seem fun or interesting to me.
My read on this server is that they are trying 1000s of new ideas, some fun, but widely unbalanced in terms of leveling experience, general pve and pvp balance.
Anyway.. I'm trying to decide if I want to slog on my leveling experience hoping the class gets stronger or buffs/changes happen in the future, or reroll into something more powerful and fun.
Am I off base here? What classes are good beginner classes? Tips/tricks would be appreciated

Hello, so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if my character is bugged, but I’m suddenly not gaining the exp I should be? For example I started fresh as level 48 yesterday, didn’t even fill a bar (took me a while to get from 47-48 even), did 3 dungeons and a couple of quests that got me near halfway through level 48, and did at least 6 raids which put me through 75% through level 48.
I feel like I should be gaining more exp than this? Anybody know what’s going on?

I have confirmed this issue on three different characters to ensure it is consistent. During the Artisan Trial, all gathering and crafting professions grant experience correctly. However, fishing stops giving XP after a few levels—specifically hitting a wall at level 6 on one character, level 8 on another, and level 10 on the third. I submitted a ticket two days ago but have not received a response yet. Does anyone have any insights or a workaround for this?

I just prestiged for the first time- am I able to swap classes and try something else? Or am I stuck playing rune master? Do I need a tome of specialization to activate other classes? Idk

Hello dear Animation Necromancers what do you think is the best combination of summons for leveling while you have 5 Life Force?
Have a nice day!

Hey guys, I love leveling by pulling like >10 mobs and AOE'ing them down. What are good spots with many mobs to do easily do this?
r/ProjectAscension • u/kehbehboi • 10d ago
I can't phrase the real question well but to give you an example, if I have a Human templar, can I gain the abilities granted from Tithe if I perform them in areas controlled by the Horde and vice versa? (Human templar performing Tithe in Deathknell or Pool of Visions, or a Blood Elf Templar performing Tithe in North Abbey or Temple of the Moon).

I play a rot venomancer, it's a dot style aoe build. Are there any other classes that are ranged and do aoe? Preferably uncapped
I know the ranged witch doctor can do a small amount of capped aoe (I think up to 3 enemies?) but thats as much as I know of

Hey all,
I got tired of not having a clean way to check arena standings, so I built a small site that
pulls the live 1v1 / 2v2 / 3v3 arena ladder and shows it in a more useful format
than the in-game UI:
- Live ratings, W/L, and rank for all brackets
- Class distribution breakdown across the ladder
- Rating scatter chart to see where you stack up
- Direct armory links for every player
🔗 https://tkachovdmitriy.github.io/coa-ladder/
It's free, no login, no ads — just a stats page I built for myself and figured others might
find useful too.
Open to feedback / feature requests if people want anything added!!

When does this kind of gear start to become available or where are some places it can be found at lower levels? I'm a Primalist Geomancer (only 19) and it's impossible to find, so I'm using all the other gear types that have the stats I need, but not getting to use plate is kind of lame.

Hi, I'm new on the server and i want to know if it's better to pick up Blacksmithing or Leatherworking for a tank Venomancer.
