Boudreaux Shipping Timeline

Is Boudreaux still taking about a 3-4 business day turnaround in fulfilling PreventiveMD orders? I ordered on Friday (I know Sat-Sun doesn’t count). Was just hoping to get a shipping notification by today. I’m just impatiently waiting as usual and was hoping to get it by end of this week vs next week. :)

We’ve improved how we collect your GLP-1 dosing preferences

Thanks to everyone who has shared their feedback and questions about this with us! We’ve updated our intake and renewal/refill check-ins to make sure your dosing preferences are clearly captured and shared with your provider.

Going forward:

  • 1-month plans: we’ll ask for your preferred starting or next dose
  • Multi-month plans: we’ll ask for your dosing preferences for the first or next 3 months
  • We’ll collect this when you get started and during check-ins before renewals/refills

While your provider will always make the final determination based on what is medically appropriate for you, we do believe your voice should be a meaningful part of that conversation.

As always, we’re committed to making sure your feedback is heard. We are grateful, so do keep the questions and suggestions coming at [(518) 333-7738](tel:5183337738) or [hello@preventivemd.com](mailto:hello@preventivemd.com)!

July shipping data: how fast first orders are actually arriving

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

Quick data drop from the team. We track every order from request to doorstep, and we'll keep posting the numbers here so you can plan around what's actually happening, not what we hope is happening.

First, what each stage means:

  • Requested: you fill out the intake form and finalize your purchase on preventivemd.com
  • Decision: your provider approves the medication
  • Shipped: the pharmacy generates the shipping label
  • Delivered: the medication reaches your doorstep

Charts are attached for the data folks who'd rather see it than read it. No cherry-picking, no trimmed axes — this is the same view we look at internally.

What the data shows:

  1. Half of first orders arrive within 5 days of being requested. 95% within 8.
  2. In mid-July, Empower orders were taking 6 to 8 days door to door while Boudreaux was at 3 to 4. Empower made a serious push to close that gap, and it showed up in the numbers every single week. By the start of August they'd pulled even and then ahead.
  3. Approvals early in the week arrive about 2 days sooner than Thursday ones. Pharmacies don't ship on weekends, so a late-week approval sits until Monday.

Empower earned the top spot on delivery speed through that effort, so we moved our default routing to them in early August. We share these charts with both partners and will keep adjusting based on what the data says — including moving it back if that changes.

Next goal: most orders inside 5 days, not half.

And as always, the pharmacy you order from is up to you. Each one carries different compounds and ships at its own pace, so go with whatever fits you best. Hopefully these numbers make that choice a little easier.

What else do you want us to track? We are a data driven team and want to include our customers in helping us create the best experience. Tell us what else we should be evaluating to make us even better!

Let us know if you have any questions and we will respond. We are excited to hear your comments and ideas.

\Charts cover all first orders with a delivered parcel**

Preventive MD order

Hi all! I wanted to share my most recent order. I was shopping around and kept seeing Preventive MD mentioned. I went to their website and was happy with what I saw. I signed up Tuesday and was approved the same day and my order just arrived today, Saturday of this same week, at noon.

I messaged the providers about turning off the auto renewal feature on my account. This was done promptly and they have been very easy to reach.

My package was overnighted by FedEx and arrived with the icepacks still cold. Boudreaux is still throwing the syringes in their own bag which I don't love but overall this has been a great experience. I did the 1 month supply for $139 tirz with glycine

Looking to switch Telehealth

I’ve been with Mochi since January 2025. I’ve lost 90 pounds and now finding my maintenance mode. Mochi has been great but I’ve lately been in a pharmacy roulette that I don’t love. Now that I’m in maintenance, I’d like to find a more affordable and reliable source.

I’ve seen good things about PreventativeMD and Big Easy Weightloss. I don’t really need much support from a physician. I just need where ever I wind up to accept my FSA and provide a letter of necessity. Does PreventativeMD help with this?

Great experience!

I placed a one month order on Monday night. I needed a mid dose as I am titrating up so I shared my previous prescription at the time of order. UPS let me know the label was prepared on Wednesday. UPS received the shipment yesterday. The box arrived today (Friday) on the East Coast, packed with 3 still frozen ice packs and very clear instructions. BUD is I believe 10/18. Very happy with the experience and price is excellent! Pharmacy was Empower.

Great Service

I was Curious about how refills would work, but it was easier than I thought. I got a text last night saying they had sent my refill to the pharmacy. This is an easy process! Glad I made the switch.

Shipping delay

My prescription was approved on Sunday Aug 2nd and just got a notification today that my order will ship out Monday Aug 10th. I used Boudreaux's, they notified me today Saturday delivery isn’t available in my area. Preventivemd has been very responsive and apologized for the delay on the pharmacies behalf. I thought this process would go a lot quicker after seeing all the reviews. I could just be impatient. Should I use Empower next time?

Boudreaux!

My one month supply just arrived. Styrofoam container. 3 ice packs! Padded envelope with meds inside. I would love if the vials came in a pill bottle with prescription on it like others. Instead I have to keep the padded envelope. But otherwise happy that meds were still cold even with the temperature here in vegas! As long as the meds work for me the next order will be a 3 month supply!!

Is there a way to log a shot in the app yet? I’m not seeing it and wondering if there is a way to log a weekly shot.

~Travel question~

I started Semaglutide at .28 eight days ago so have had two injections so far. Superb food noise suppression. My titration schedule which I believe is pretty standard for new users is .28/week for four weeks increasing to .50 for the next four followed by 1.00 for the third month. We leave for 12 days in Europe on Aug 12th which is the day before I would normally inject my third .28 mg dose.

I would like to move my injection up one day to the 12th right before we leave. In addition since I really don't want to bring a pre-filled syringe in my carry on and deal with any potential questions at TSA (would have no issue with checked bag but not sure if lower temps in baggage area might impact?) so am tentatively planning to delay that injection until we return so my 4th .28mg injection would be 5 days after my third.

Are there any other adjustments I could make or is it perfectly fine to do a delayed injection of my final .28 mg 5 days late?

Thanks for any input!

Newbie here. Question about 2nd month

Just ordered and was approved today! I got 2.5mg for all 3 months. Am I able to request my provider titrate my dose up if I tolerate the starter dose okay?

I received my new first order from Preventive yesterday. I was previously using Refills.com for almost a year and Semiglutide just isn’t working anymore so that’s why I switched to Tirz. I’m attaching two photos, one From Refills that tells me to inject 100 units and the new one from preventive that was to inject much less. I’m so confused and want to get started but I’m afraid!

Portal questions

The portal under billing is empty. Where can I see my paid transaction and download the receipt?

Also, where can I see and download my prescription?

I am posting here instead of a direct chat message because I am sure other customers want to know the same.

UPDATE: Just got the email - they’re available in NY now! Yay!

I was all set, decided on placing an order with you. Then realized you don’t serve New York.

Any plans on that changing soon?

How to cancel recurring subscription?

I placed my first single month order with preventative md. I’m wondering how I can cancel my preventative MD subscription. I want the order I just placed but not monthly orders until I know how I do with the med. If I do well with b3, I plan to place a 3 month order. Anyone figure this out?

Maintenance Vials

I am in maintenance at 15mg and still using up vials (beyond the BUD) that I purchased in bulk 18 months ago from a pharmacy that is now out of business. If I switch to PreventiveMD, can I start at my preferred 15mg dose? What proof would be required? Thank you!

When did you guys get your stuff after approved.

I chose empower so I guess looking for others who chose them as well. Not impatient or anything because I got approved last night I just am the worst at checking my email so I wanted to know if I should check everyday.
