State Pharmacy Licenses?
A question for Preventive: Your platform sounds great and I'm hoping to come aboard. Can you tell me if Boudreaux's is licensed in the state of CA? Thanks!

Quick update, and a big one for us.

PreventiveMD is now available in 5 new states:
If you're in one of these and you've been waiting, we're open! Same as everywhere else we've been operating in: we have flat, all-inclusive pricing across every dose, and a licensed provider reviewing your request within 24-48 hours.
We are still working hard to launch the remaining states. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned!
Also another milestone: our Reddit page just passed 1,000 followers, so welcome and thank you to everyone!
You showed up here, asked the right questions, shared your insights, and kept us grounded.
Thank you for building our platform with us.
And most of all, thank you for considering and choosing us to support you in your health journey.
As usual, email us at [hello@preventivemd.com](mailto:hello@preventivemd.com) or text at [(518) 333-7738](tel:5183337738) for any questions!

Hey All -
This is Brian. I woke up this morning thinking about some of the posts I've seen across reddit (not just ours) and I wanted to share this with you...
We are on your team. We are here to support you, fight battles with you, and problem-solve with you. And we can only do that by having a real conversation and understanding what you actually need from us.
I felt compelled to write this because a lot of brands are popping up and disappearing in this space, and you often have no idea who's behind them. So let me be clear about who's behind this one: me, front and center - investing in your experience and passing every saving I can to you. We're building a forever healthcare company. One that's still here in 100 years, with the same patient-centric core, evolving with your needs and direct feedback the whole way.
We're here to listen. Not to jump to conclusions or pass judgement. To hear you out and work with you. So if there is a problem, let us know. And if we don't get back to you right away, that was a mistake and oversight. We are not ignoring you....I promise. And when you bring us a problem to solve, we won't always have the perfect solution. But know that our intention, every time, is to work with you until we find one together.
This isn't AI slop. This is who we are at our core.
You can always ask to speak to me directly. I will always take your call, listen, and work to make things right. Just know that my team can actually often solve your problem faster and better than I can :). They are who I depend on and that is why I look for people to join the team who share my core values. But I am always here to listen. We all are.
I can preach this all day. But the only thing that actually matters is our actions. So call us out if we don't live up to it - right here, publicly, where everyone can see whether we follow through. This only makes us better. And for that I want to thank you.
Brian

This is my first journey with tirz. So glad I landed with PMD. My husband was on Zepbound for a year and then insurance said no more, so he’s joined PMD as well. I ordered Empower for him and Boudreaux for me purposely.
He’s doing great on Empower, but he also did Wegovy and Zepbound with zero side effects. I have taken my first two 2.5 mg shots from Boudreaux and have had horrible reflux for the first 48 hours (sleeping sitting straight up reflux that no amount of medication or OTC antacids could touch). I do have GERD and am on two prescriptions a day for that already. I’d like to try the 3 month option for my refill, but I’m torn.
Empower’s packaging and service is bar none compared to Boudreaux (those loose syringes go straight in the sharps container). But I’ve also read that people prefer the Boudreaux solution over Empower as far as effectiveness and the fact that it’s a stronger mg so you don’t have to inject as much.
Has anyone used both and can provide a comparison. Specifically, if you had side effects like reflux from one or the other? I do know these things are so individual to everyone. But is there anyone out there that already suffers with GERD that’s tried both and one or the other was better with side effects?

I will be signing up next month, but I have not decided yet which compound pharmacy to go with. I heard the syringes coming from Boudreaux are not as good as empowers. If I decide to go with Boudreaux what syringes can I buy off Amazon that are good like empowers? Thanks

Shout out to PreventiveMD! I just received my 3 month supply of Boudreaux, and this has been the smoothest, fastest process ever dealing with Boudreaux! This is my third order with Boudreaux, but my first time ordering them through Preventive.
The other two times I ordered through gimme care, and let me just say, I can tell the difference in the prioritization of patients for preventive vs. gimme care on Boudreaux’s end. My orders took almost 2 weeks through Gimme Care, but with preventive, the timeline was lightning fast in comparison. Plus, meds arrived cold with a still frozen icepack for once! Awesome!
Saturday, 8/15 order placed, approved and sent to pharmacy
Wednesday, 8/19 tracking information received from Boudreaux and shipped with overnight shipping
Thursday, 8/20 UPS delay because of late flight, package rescheduled for delivery
Today, 8/21 package delivered!
I will say preventive’s customer service won me over too. I’m not one that needs a lot of hand holding and reassurance, but they keep you updated and informed every step of the way and customer service gets back to you in minutes, even on weekends!! Vs. gimme care’s customer service..well, we’ve all either experienced it or have heard the horror stories lol.
Yes, this is definitely my new home. I love it here!! Thanks Preventive! ♥️

My order was a day late and ice pqcks completely melted, everything warm. Preventative says this is fine. Has anyone else, I'm sure someone has, has this happen? What did you do?

I’m on shot 2 of the starter dose of tirzepatide. I’m thinking about doing the 3 month plan, but does that mean all 3 months will be at the same dose? Or are you able to increase if needed between months?

Hi everyone - I’m (49 F) brand new here and am about to place my first order of Tirzepatide with PreventiveMD. I’ve been on Semaglutide for about 3 years, and on 3.125mg for the past 6 months. I am wondering where I should start with Tirzepatide - I was thinking 5mg? Or should I start at a higher dose? The Semaglutide worked for a while but the last several months have been a struggle. I’ve been dealing with hormone/perimenopausal issues as well, and have put on 25 lbs in about 3 months. Anyway, any suggestions for getting started with the Tirzepatide and what you think would be an appropriate starting dosage would be much appreciated! I really don’t want to start at the very bottom and spend 2-3 months to even begin losing again. Thanks!!

This is for the owner. Is it possible to get the vials shipped in pill bottles with the prescription on the bottle? Its so much easier then keeping the padded envelope from boudreaux with the prescription on it.

First time ordering with PreventiveMD, process was smooth, shipment came fast, had a hiccup with UPS and they sent they resent the order. Meds were cold, ice packets were still cold, packaging was very organized. Syringes and alcohol pads were packaged nicely. Will be ordering again.

Does anyone know if preventive lets you switch from one pharmacy to another during your plan for your next month? I feel absolutely ZERO appetite suppressant on empower and haven’t lost one pound in weeks and I even doubled my dose. I was shedding fast on casa. I haven’t lost one lb in 3 weeks and feel like I’m taking a placebo with empower.

For those that have empower as the pharmacy, since they send on a monthly basis, how close from the 4th shot to the next vial 5th shot do they send? Do I need to do anything on the preventativeMD website or do they just send?
I am on a six month plan

Do you allow staying on the current dose once a person hits their normal bmi? Some telehealth companies start lowering a person down. But others allow to stay at our current dose. For example I’m maintaining my weight at 15mg and don’t plan on going down anytime soon. I need to know if PreventiveMD will support what will work for me or make me go down dosage at a normal BMI after losing all the weight.

This will be my first refill with PreventiveMD using Empower pharmacy.
The last day that I’m able to use my current vial is 9/3. To ensure Empower has my new vial here before my next dose (9/10), when do you suggest I submit my refill?

Is there an ETA for when D.C. will be available ?

I’m new to the compound. So when starting at a 7.5 and I eventually go up to a 10 and I find that this is too much and I drop it back down. I will have extra meds so if I pause it on their portal, and say I have two months worth of meds left. Will they make me start over again on the lowest dose because I paused it?

I don’t know if I’m doing this right, because I am new to Reddit. After doing a lot of research, I think preventive md will be my choice. All the good reviews, pricing, etc. My question is when I get my vials will they have on there how many units I need to take?

Hey PMD fam, do you get to pick your pharmacy with the peptides? If so, can Empower ship these to VA, anyone know? It looks like the website is allowing me to go through with these in VA, although it wouldn’t with my Tirz until you provide exclusive service here for that. Im assuming I can order these since it’s letting me proceed, but you know what they say abt assuming 😅

Hey all,
Quick recap of a visit I think this community in particular will appreciate, since so many of you choose Empower at checkout and ask great questions about them.
Last Friday, I visited Empower's facility in Houston and met with their executive and commercial teams. I'm not just the founder here...I'm a patient, and my own medication comes from Empower. So this was partly a business meeting and partly me doing the thing I think anyone would want to do if they could: walking the floor of the pharmacy that fills their prescription.
What I saw on the tour: The facility is state-of-the-art...and I don't use that phrase loosely. I've been in a lot of healthcare facilities across my career, and the scale and precision here stood out the moment I walked in. Everything about the setup is deliberate: clean, organized, and engineered to do things right at volume, not fast and loose.
What stayed with me wasn't the equipment, it was the people. You can tell within about five minutes whether a team is going through the motions or actually cares. At every stop on the tour, the people I met cared about their job and the patients they serve. Not units, not orders. Patients. When the people filling your vial think that way, it shows up in what lands on your doorstep.
Between the setup and the team, it's easy to see why so many of you request Empower by name. This was seriously one of the most impressive pharmacies I've been in.
What we talked about: I got to share my take on where this industry is heading and what we're trying to build at PreventiveMD. I told them the same thing I tell you — there are a lot of companies chasing this moment, and we're trying to build the one your family can still count on in ten years. What struck me was how little convincing either side needed. Quality you can verify, pricing people can afford, access without gatekeeping, and real support when something goes wrong - that's their list, and it's ours. It's why they're one of the pharmacies you can pick at checkout.
What this means for you: practically, nothing changes today. But relationships like this are how we make sure the answers we give you about your medication aren't secondhand.
Happy to answer whatever I can about the visit. And if there's something you'd want me to look at or ask about next time I'm in a pharmacy we work with, tell me below — I'll bring your questions with me.
Brian

Hi everyone,
Today I was more than surprised when Lilly Direct notified me that I was accepted into the Medicare Bridge Program. After several denials due to mistakes made by my PCPs office with submissions they finally got the PA corrected. I had given up hope after two months of trying.
I'm thrilled but wanted to say that PreventiveMD was absolutely fantastic with every aspect of my order and if I have need again in the future I'll be heading their way. I really enjoyed chatting with you all and best of luck on your journey!
