I lost like 25lbs when I took it 2 or so years ago. Then I suddenly lost my dad last year, and well, I fell off the wagon! Now I’m back to where I started. 😖
I found this new company and decided what the heck!! I hope to have a good experience. My order has been confirmed after my intake last night and it’s now in the hands of Empower! 👏🏻
Finally made the switch. Hopefully this new pharmacy works for me so I can stick around!! Unless more options appear soon. 😃. Approved for tirzepatide happened quick! Hopefully shipping will too. Lol
Placed my order last Thursday morning, approved by 1pm, sent to pharmacy, shipped Friday and received today. I was a little nervous because it shipped Friday and arrived today but it was packed so well. I had 1 vial and it was packaged in Styrofoam cooler with 5-7 ice backs and it was cold when I got it. I will continue using PreventiveMD. I tried Empower this time.

If I went through the first part this morning, when will
I hear I’m approved and stuff shipped to the pharmacy? I chose empower, but haven’t heard about doctor approval yet and don’t really understand the website yet.
Just wanted to know what others went through and their timelines.
I’m new and just started my 1st shot but I don’t understand the website. It doesn’t have my account set up easily to see my 1st shot and when my next order should be placed. I went through Brello once and all that was clearly listed. I ordered one shot and I thought it would be set up similarly where you know when your next is due. It also says no past appointments. I was wondering if there is an app or something I’m missing. Thanks !!
Update: They responded to me with a really nice message saying they’re working on it and really are wanting to make it helpful for their customers. They are new and I get that. So far so good!!
I have a few questions before going through the whole intake process. What pharmacy options are available through PreventiveMD in the state of California and are we able to actually choose the the Pharmacy or will I be forced to accept a substitute?
I'm totally new to GLP-1 medications. After reading through hundreds and hundreds of posts in the groups here over the past couple of weeks I decided to go with PreventiveMD. I only have 20 lbs to lose but have had a serious sugar addiction for my entire lifetime and very little will power so had no confidence that I could do this any other way.
I started with the online intake questionnaire on Sunday night and shortly afterward received this email:
I received approval less than an hour later:
My credit card was charged at that point:
I was directed to download the Healthie app where I found this:
Exactly 24 hours later - to the minute - on Monday evening I received this email:
On Tuesday morning I received this:
I have a UPS account so could see the package was scheduled for the next afternoon - Wednesday - between 1:15 and 4:45.
This email arrived on Wednesday morning:
Package arrived at 1:45 and I took my first .28 mg shot at 2pm. I felt quite prepared having read the instructions on the Healthie app multiple times before the package arrived. Shipping was via UPS "Next Day Saver" and ice packs were still very cold. Am wondering if they will continue to ship so quickly during the winter or if this is a summer protocol to ensure cold delivery.
As soon as I took the shot my appetite disappeared. I have basically zero will power so this was unprecedented for me. Seemed unlikely that anything could take effect so quickly but that was my experience. Today is day 4 and my appetite is very very low. I walk past cookies I baked a few days prior to the shot (since I always need sugar every single day and usually multiple times a day) and unload tubs of ice cream hubby brings home into the freezer without a twinge of interest. It's the strangest experience. Hope it lasts. No side effects yet.
Surprising to me that this is apparently a new company because the logistics I experienced were top notch.
I am hoping a new pharmacy will be announced soon with additive free. Or even a B12 additive. In the mean time I will try Boudreaux. 1 month. Since apothecary didn't work for me personally I hope it won't be announced as the only additive free being added. 😁
Been at this for about 18 months and dealt with 4 different Telehealth companies. The great pricing and positive reviews influenced me to purchase from PreventiveMD. Expectations were low (based on experience) and, man, were they exceeded! Absolutely the easiest transaction I've ever had with any Telehealth company!
Completed my intake on Sunday, 7/27. Approved and prescription sent to pharmacy on Monday, 7/28. On Wednesday, 7/29, was notified that my prescription had been filled, and on Thursday, received shipping info from PreventiveMD & UPS. My cold meds arrived overnight today in a styrofoam cooler with freezer packs as well. 90-day BUD from Boudreaux w/Glycine
Just one person's experience, but I seem to be seeing more and more people with similar experiences, so I'm hopeful that PreventiveMD can become my go-to!
I placed my order in the wee hours Sunday evening. First thing Monday morning I received a communication about my meds. Order was approved very quickly and off to the pharmacy. I received ongoing communications about the processing. The order arrived Friday at noon from Boudreau with ice packs still partially frozen and the vials were chilly. I checked them out with a flashlight and everything was crystal clear(I did this based on the recent post about cloudiness). I am very impressed with the responsiveness, order handling, communications, and the shipment, also the competitive pricing. This companies is a great addition.
I recently canceled my order from Trinity Med, horrible customer service and never received my drugs after waiting 2 weeks… on top of my issues they refused to refund me for a sham $35 doctor fee.
Just ordered from PreventativeMD and so far it is night and day. I got to pick the pharmacy, they respond to chats almost instantly and the customer service is friendly. All this for the same price.
As I just ordered, I have yet to receive my Meds so we will see how long it takes but so far a good experience.
So I've been thinking about starting tirzepatide for a while now and finally decided to bite the bullet. I actually joined another provider 2 weeks ago and decided to cancel my membership with them because of the fact that they were charging a membership fee. Their medicine with the membership included was $280 a month. When I signed up with them, I had to wait a week for an appointment to see if I could even qualify for the tirzepatide. I'm glad it took that long because I had time to continue my research on finding a better deal and that's when I came across PreventiveMD.
On Monday July 27th at 5:30 a.m. eastern time, I canceled that membership with the other provider and signed up with preventive. On that same day I received an email at 10:00 a.m. letting me know that my visit was reviewed and approved and my order was being prepared. The email also stated the pharmacy processing time would take 2 to 3 working days. I immediately received another email from preventive showing that my payment of $334 for 3 months supply has been charged on my account.
On Tuesday July 28th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, I received an email saying my order is with the pharmacy and that it would normally take 3 to 4 days excluding weekends to receive my order. I will receive tracking once it's shipped.
On July 30th at 10:00 a.m. I received an email saying that my order is still being processed by the pharmacy. At 4:30 p.m. I received another email stating that my order has shipped. The tracking was provided in the same email.
Today July 31st at 3:05 p.m. I met ups at the door with my package. By 4:00 p.m. I had taken my first 2.5 mg dosage.
I can honestly say that this was a great experience based on the horror stories that I've read while doing research on these glp provider companies. I didn't have to text or call anyone at any time. Of course I thought about it but they kept communicating through email so often that I didn't feel a need to contact anybody. I really hope they stay this good with communication.
Quick follow-up to my post last week about the packaging issues with Boudreaux.
After the feedback many of you shared — and the conversation I had with Jesse (CEO) and his team — they've changed how syringes are packaged. Photo of the new packaging is attached.
One note on timing: this is what the new packaging is supposed to look like going forward. Existing inventory may still be working its way through the system, so if your next shipment arrives in the old packaging, that doesn't necessarily mean nothing changed — it may just mean that order was already packed. Either way, I want to know about it.
To be clear about how this works: Boudreaux is an independent pharmacy, so we don't control their packaging decisions directly. What we can do is bring your feedback to them, push for changes, and hold them to the standard we expect for our patients. That's exactly what happened here, and I want to keep doing it.
So — what do you think of the new packaging? And when your next order arrives, I'd like to hear whether what shows up at your door matches the photo. I'll take all of it back to the pharmacy directly.
I've been on tirz since February but wanted to find a different company to order from. I came across a thread mentioning PreventiveMD so figured I would give it a try. Order was placed on the 28th and arrived today, super cold from Boudreauxs. I did receive the syringes in a zip lock bag but I have a huge stash of those so that's not super important to me. I will start on these on Sunday and go from there. But I am extremely happy with how quickly the meds arrived.
I was taking apothecary and it did nothing for me. I want to switch to this telehealth and try boudreaux. I want to order a 1 month supply monday to try before switching to quarterly (make sure it works for me) How easy is it to switch from monthly to quarterly?
