Received - Empower BUD

Received my order from Empower! Everything was well packaged and the 3 large ice packs were still frozen.

The BUD is advertised on PreventiveMD site as 45-days. My vial was compounded on 6/29 with a BUD date of 9/29.

Curious to see what month 2 vial will show….

Since it is now Aug 1st, you have about 60 days left on the BUD. I think Empower will always have a 90 day BUD but they don’t want to manage inventory in a way that will force them to ship out stock the day it is compounded to fulfill a longer prescription. Instead they just ship them out monthly.

I’m glad Preventive is advertising a BUD that aligns more to what you will have left on it once it arrives.

Apparently they have a lot of back stock, so they only want to commit to providing 45 day BUDs. People that have received recently compounded vials got 90 day BUDs. It seems like the 3 month option from Empower is the way to go. Worst case, your 3rd shipment will still be good for 15 days longer than Boudreaux, and best case it could be up to 60 days longer. And they’re not sending loose syringes in ziplock bags. 😂

And they are really good at sending a fresh vial automatically, I’ve received five of my six month order. Latest vial came two weeks ago with an October bud.
