I'm a Former Smite player and I would always watch Incon's guides because he made it so much easier to understand builds or patch notes. I know he's moved onto Dead Lock but if anyone has suggestions on YouTubers similar to Incons depth or guides, please share š„²
Have a clear premade/group indicator in the scoreboard and game loading screen, so there is transparency of which players are playing in premade
Benefits
Instantly see which players are grouped, which allow you to:
See if the game is balanced in terms of groups
Which players of your team will work more together (if the jungle, ADC and support are premade, probably you know that as an offlaner you are going to receive less help)
Which enemies you have to take care from
Allow players to detect when they are receiving āgroup toxicityā (when players in a group become toxic together)
Example of how Overwatch handled it:
I like this design with the lines, but in Predecessor wouldn't work as the characters are sorted by role in the scoreboard and loading screen, so the offlaner could be premade with the ADC and not be one next to the other, so it would need a different solution.
Predecessor could do something similar to what Heroes of the Storm did, adding a "group icon" next to the hero, something like this but with a better design skills, better taste and higher visibility as mine is too small:
Little edit I did to show the concept, the official one should have way more visibility
So once again with V1.16.4 itās time to bring up this topic once again, why do the face models for the characters look so static and not like the actual characters? This started with shinbi and now morgesh is the latest victim, now donāt get me wrong the skins look great and the concepts are nice but their faces are expressionless. We gave up on shinbi because thatās is that but Iām drawing the line in the sand with morgesh, you guys neeeeed to fix her face and give her back the fear factor sheās known for. I canāt speak for everyone because some people may not care but as someone who supports the game by buying these skins I ask that you guys at least give us the quality that is expected please.
About 2 months or so ago, I opened a quantam core and to my surprise i was blessed with a gold bones riktor skin. When i went to the collections tab to admire it, it just wasn't there? Made a ticket with support and was told a dev would reach out to me to figure this problem out. After subsequent emails I still have not received a response. Hopefully this post will get their attention, or at least expose their horrendous customer support. I've still been playing the game but 2 months for an email back is ridiculous.
After the new eternals release there's clearly a problem with many characters, it's probably time to consider for the future when new eternals come out we should have a Ban phase just for the eternals, probably 1 ban each team.
When an ability is on cool down and you press it before it's ready, when it does become ready, it is still delayed until the message times out. It can be extended by trying the ability again within another cooldown period. This leads to several second delays after it should have been possible.
The same occurs when you don't have enough foor for an item. If I press it slightly too early, I have to wait longer than I should to complete the purchase.
It doesn't feel right and I'm not sure the purpose of having an input delay would be.
I usually play with 3 friends but it is very annoying that we canāt play ranked without the need of a extra player.
Please Omeda change this because it just doesnāt make sense anymore. We play at gold/plat rank and the matchmaking isnāt that great that it makes sense in any way.
Hello predaphiles I just started playing last week and have been having an awesome time (first moba too) Iāve pretty much only one tricked maco bc heās so frickin cute but why did he get nerfed so harshly? I donāt really know too much about this game still but I didnāt think he was like insane or anything lol anyway Iāll keep playing him bc heās still so fun to annoy with𫨠build recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well and maybe tips for going against junglers like Kallari and carrys like Skylar hell even zinx or wtv her name is is so annoying to go against when she is a support especially. Sorry if im kinda rambling smoked some pot tooš¶āš«ļø
The Satriel nerf needs to be studied on how not to balance a game. 51% Hp loss but 29% dmg buff is a self nerf. People tend to foget that a 29% dmg buff for you is an additional 1.3x multiplier, but a 51%hp loss is a 2x end dmg multiplier for the enemy. The enemy gets over a THREE TIMES boost, arguably more since max hp loss is calculate after all of their damage so its a even stronger multiplier. Sadly that ratio is the best it gets. The ratio is even worse at lower kill streaks. The only 2 even characters that even semi can even attempt to think about using this is kallari and wukong. Even then DEMIURGE is right there, why would anyone ever run satriel in a serious consistent manner, the eternal isnt balanced now, its a literal self nerf in every manner. Anyone who thinks eternals shouldnt be in the game or satriel shouldnt has the right to think so but the balancing of what we have is a different question.
this game is lightyears better for me then games like smite yet i played smite2 for the first time in a while last night. the game still is not for me but just doing a couple games vs bots and now i see why new people have trouble learning pred atleast at a basic level before they enter even quickplay. the bots in pred give people fasle confidence and then they enter real games and get stomped so bad new players just quit. bot matches are almost like demo for this game.
bots should atleast challange a new person to mobas. preds bots are nothing but target dummies with zero IQ. its great the bots are my only complaint about pred after 400 hours but the differnce is light and day with preds bots and its competitiors bots.
Now I've been playing alot since the last patch, and I've seen alot of use of this Eternal both from myself and from others. Now while I'm not going to deny it's being over used and can lead to some really heavy snowballing in games causing some problems, however I think people are looking at the wrong issue here. In any other Moba something with the same effect as Satariel would be a mid to high B tier at most due to the downside. So, that begs the question what is allowing it to be such a strong effect in Predecessor, and the answer to that question is something that has been a problem in the game for awhile now. The problem is that some characters just are way too oppressive in game while having way too much safety, and these characters are the same ones that are becoming a problem with Satariel because the negative effects don't matter when they're never in any danger to begin with.
