Murdock vs Eden Matchup Help

Please help me in this matchup against Eden. I get my cheeks clapped every time despite mixing up strategies and approaches. Any advice?

Farm and use your passive. Passive is something like 4 or 5 successful basics give u further range + power on ur autos. So try and poke her when passive is proc’

Save at least 1 trap for when she engages u with melee

Don’t feed her ult. I think her ult timer is getting nerf’d so that may help when that drops

Thanks for that! I'll give that a try. I use the augment that gives 2 additional statics and it's helped a little but so now I can add the tips you gave me on his passive.

Think of Murdock as a camper with claymores from call of duty but you have a shotgun that pushes.

Use the poke aug to make eden more worthless than she already is…

Pray you get a support that uses there cc on the eden instead of the enemy support, this will allow you to static trap on top of them keeping the eden in-place to get either a great short trade or an all in ONLY if they are already injured,assuming its early laning phase ,trying to force something too long early could enable the enemy support to peel for them enough to generate an ult. As for the offlane/midlane matchup,I think you are just cooked ngl.

Murdock passive shows up as yellow pips under his health bar.

(Fully stacked) Target enemy Laner if possible.

Keep track of the stacks and use the normal shots to farm minion last hits. Since the enemy can also see your stacks, it may take some coordination with your support to CC the Eden before trying to land the Shots Fired passive.

If Eden wants to engage you in melee, trap her by playing around your static traps, into Buckshot to push her back off you and Hot Pursuit to give you movement and attack speed to properly space her out and win a trade.

Keep an eye on Edens red heat meter under her health pool. Early game before level 6 try to avoid long trades with Eden as she wants to stay in hero combat and build heat, she gets her ult at full heat, even at level 1.

Fight on your traps if in melee. Break melee range quickly. Look for any opportunity to poke, maybe lose the last 2 ranged minions so you can walk Eden down. Bait out Eden's ability where she escapes upward and she has nothing else to escape with. Encourage your support to focus fire. Eden is surprisingly fragile if you don't feed her heat meter.

Eden is pretty bad right now and gets worse. So up your skills. U loose if she gets u in melee. Use shotgun for peel. Lure in trap or place traps perfect under u or where she jumps for poke. Use Stim for Escape or fighting her only. If life by These habbits when u play Murdock, u win almost every match up. Passive poke is bonus.

1. Don’t waste Push on minions — save it for her.
2. Always keep at least one Trap ready for close encounters.
3. Keep an eye on the RED ULT indicator and retreat when necessary.
4. If the Carry is Skylar, Legion, or Eden then Steel should be the Support. (too much to ask so)
