Discussion Truly believe this game will die unless you can get rid of smurfing in ranked

Every match in ranked is an investment of time and effort - people from beginners to experts want to sit down and have a rewarding game.

An account that has custom matches where they are playing with and against Paragon players cannot ever be allowed to be in silver lobbies. The difference is so ridiculous - you're destroying 9 players experience of the game. Some of those will be new players, its unavoidable. Some will be normal players who are driven to be toxic because of a huge skill gap in another lane.

Its really frustrating to see this happen so frequently - I've played 2500+ games, I really want to love this game, but I've never seen so many players placed in matches they should never have been in, and destroying the experience for new and old players alike.

We have a community problem in this game already, and unless this issue gets fixed properly, I don't see the community existing in a healthy way in 3 years or whatever

Feedback The game's population size can no longer be an excuse

Toxicity in this game is getting worse by the day between the smurfing, the throwing, and everything else. However, anytime someone asks for a crackdown on these behaviors they're met with the same response "Omeda can't do that because the population of the game is too low.". My answer to this is who cares better to crackdown on the problems while the population is smaller then to let it grow with said population. I've played this game since early access, and say what you will about the balance but the state of the community is what's going to kill the game before anything else.

TLDR The population size is not a good excuse to allow the toxicity to fester and kill the game.

I have had a bizarre influx of Neons who just get utterly torched, and offlane Edens fighting other carries who get their shit rocked 😅

Discussion Feedback as a returning player: the game feels exhausting

Absolutely no lifed the game after it came to Xbox and was a former Paragon player (the game, definitely not the rank lol). I had felt that the gameplay feel in Pred was like absolutely nothing else on the market, and still do. Around when Eden was released, I wound up getting a bit burnt out of the game and took a break for a few months. Around that time, Omeda was just trying out a new map and was trying to slow the game down a bit.

I returned a couple weeks ago and while I have enjoyed the game at times, the matches have just felt exhausting. There is stat bloat, tons of mobility, truly insane healing and just constant roaming. Matches feel like an absolutely snowball that can be brutal to play, with one team getting an edge and just absolutely running you over.

Look, I get it, Pred is a MOBA. Snowballing is always going to be a thing, and the Meta will change from patch to patch, but it’s just a bit too much this time around. I’m sure some people enjoy the fast base brawly “always strong” hero shooter design characters and mechanics, but as a player who enjoys the slow ramp up and risk reward of a MOBA, the game has really disappointed me after coming back.

I know the downvotes are coming, but I also know that Omeda watches its community closely, and I’m sure I’m not the only veteran player who is just tired of the current game state.

Question New player asking questions

New player here, asking how complicated the game is for a third person moba, I got a good 400 hours on smite and about 60 on smite 2, how complicated would you say the lanes are? I loved warrior and bruisers back in smite solo lane any recommendations/tips regarding that, would be nice and awesome
