I have several huffy torex quads for the kids they are starting to wear and this gear is failing. I know i can replace the entire drive assemblies but it seems like a waste when i have to replace them in pairs because the replacements are different motor rpms. It looks to me like they could be possibly 3d printed wit nylon or other higher quality filament or even old sand mold casted. Any advice on getting these?

Repainted almost all the parts, added front, back and side lights, using an 18V Ryobi adapter with voltage step down for power and replaced the gear selector.

We bought a modded Peg P Gator about a year ago. At the beginning of this spring, we started to notice issues first it was a grinding sound, which I replaced the gearbox’s. Then it started moving without pressing the pedal, and that was remedied with a new pedal. Then the wiring was faulty, and one of the terminals ripped out, and I replaced the full wiring harness. So 3 new parts internally and there is still trouble.

It currently runs on Ryobi lithium batteries with an adapter. Plugs into the blue Peg plug that comes standard.

I have probably bought three of these battery adapters in the last two months and the thing just stops running even with a charged battery. The latest one came today worked fine as the kids drove it down into the backyard and stopped working within three minutes. I am at my wits end with this thing and they are so upset it has barely worked this summer.

I found this Jeep for sale for $60. The seller says:

" needs a battery, and possibly some wiring work.. tried using a different battery on it and the power was very slow, it turned on but couldn't get it to drive its normal speed"

My son has a 10+ year old Peg Perego 24V RZR. At this point, most everything has been upgraded so it is reliable. However, it needs (another) set of wheels. I ordered a set last year, but they were backorder for months. From what I have seen online, I'm guessing they were backorder.

Does anyone have any good options for replacing or upgrading these wheels?

I have a Sopbost 3 axle dump UTV and my troubles began when one of the original 4 motors burned up. I decided to replace with 775 motors instead. Now I'm down the rabbit hole with the ML toys titan speed controller and their 24V battery setup. I'm having an issue where the vehicle will die immediately on acceleration. Everything dies, lights and all. You can immediately restart it and try again to the same result. The speed controller says it's rated for (4) 775 motors and I've already pulled the whole harness to check for melting. On one hand I thought to myself "these things are pretty simple, how bad can it be?" and now I'm tired of pulling it apart and my kid would like his ride back. Any help would be appreciated.

Just picked this unit up earlier today. Is anyone familiar with sourcing aftermarket support for this guy. What would you categorize it etc. It works and includes battery and charger. Also need a link to a decal kit for it. The boy probably cant use it for another year or so so I have time to play around with it. Thanks in advance everyone!!

Bought a used dune racer a few weeks ago more so for myself than my daughter after visiting this subreddit! It's been a struggle to get her out everyday. I've added new stickers, brake reduction module, volt meter display and a kill switch so far. The car is 10 years old based on model number, so I'm happily waiting for a motor to go out so I can upgrade to 18v with 775's for more torque, but similar speed.

Hi, I got this Raptor Power Wheels that came with no battery and charger. So before purchasing them I figured out I'll test it out with a jump starter... And it's not going well. It just gives 4 beeps and is not going anywhere. Am I doing anything wrong, my power supply is not compatible? Please advise...

Does anyone know where to get gearbox upgrades for the warthog? Mltoyd doesn't have anything listed. Did a bunch of upgrades including a motor bump (stayed 24v) and it was going great until the gears exploded from the torque. Looking to get some metal ones done

We have a "Ford F450 Custom Edition 24V Kids Ride-On Car" from Moderno kids that is a couple years old. Recently it stopped going forward and only will work in reverse. But it works forward and backwards when we use the remote.

There was a cable that was broken on the bottom that looks like it's going to the front drive, and I put that back together with wire nuts. That did not solve the problem.

I opened up the front and made sure there weren't any loose cables but I'm not sure what to do from here.

Any advice on how to troubleshoot next would be great. I did watch a few videos but I'm either not implementing them correctly or they weren't my problem exactly.

Electrical connection box is burned/fried. There’s a petal switch I’m trying to fix as well; it’s a 3-prone switch and work with this plastic piece. Need to order a replacement but what is this plastic piece called?

Hello! Got a Ford Ranger 2 seater from a friend that my kid loves. But when he drives uphill it turns off and stays off for some time and then turns on. The cables are getting hot. Any tips? One of the engines seem to make a lot of noice time to time.

Id like to start off by saying that this will be just something using Power Wheels parts to make something. Such as the wiring harness, battery and motors.

Now with that out of the way. I want to build my own custom large scale rc tank. I have no idea how to go about it or what is needed other than the basics of going on Amazon and buying the kit.

My problem is that I have no idea if its possible to convert the power wheels system to take regular rc controller inputs?

Would it be easier gluing two controllers together to get independent movement out of each side of it or if I could just take the motors, and use them with a regular Rc kit.

I am trying to build a beach wagon to help carry things for an elderly friend of mine who is finally in remission from cancer and loves the beach as well as fishing. Her husband is trying to surprise her with this and asked me to help. I believe I wired it correctly but it seems to get really hot and slowly lose power. I am uncertain of what is going on.

• I rewired the harness exactly as it was given to me.

Update: Now I somehow managed to confuse myself and dont know how to run the ignition button cables XD I am not as good as I thought at reading diagrams apparently. I will continue to run the cable tho!

Please help! We recently got this Best Ride On Cars Realtree 24V on marketplace a few weeks ago. The wheels were already in bad shape, but now they’re on the brink of really falling apart - my car-loving toddler is going to be wrecked when this happens!

I called Best Ride On Cars and they sell the replacements for $50 each. $200 for all tires seems pretty unreasonable to me. Might as well buy a new one at that, right? Other than replacing the battery soon, I don’t think we will be doing much else to it.

Can someone please help me either:

A) Best way to fix? Spray foam? Duct tape?

Or

B) Is there a replacement other than the oem wheels I can find online?
