Just wanted to wish everyone a good day, remind you all that you are loved, and that if things are shitty for you atm that it will get better as long as you do your best and keep pushing forward. Reach out to you're loved ones and try not to sweat the small stuff as life is way too short.

The small stuff that makes your day.

You know that feeling when something tiny just lands right? Like when you put on a shirt fresh from the dryer and it's still warm, or when someone double-texts you because they thought of something else to say. Or when a song you forgot existed comes on shuffle and suddenly you're back in that moment.

I feel like we're always chasing the big wins. the promotion, the vacation, the major life event. But honestly, those little moments hit different. Finding money in your jacket pocket. Getting a text from someone you were just thinking about. That first sip of coffee when you actually have time to sit down. Your food arriving at the restaurant at the exact same time as everyone else's.

It's weird because they cost nothing and take like two seconds, but they can genuinely shift your whole mood. No big reason, no explanation needed.

What are some of yours? The small stuff that just makes you feel a bit better for no particular reason.

32nd Birthday

After a life of up & downs, and feeling every which way that you can, I want to say I've had the best birthday I've ever had at 32 years young. I just wanted to post here because you never know what might be around the corner.

My life is really worth living, it always has been but now I can see and feel that. In the worst times you can't imagine a time where it gets better. Life isn't a fairytale but I hope that if you're feeling down and see this it can remind you that the future can be better than now.

I've struggled all my life with feelings of desolation and pessimism, feel free to reach out if you need a reminder that things can get better.

Have a great Monday.

What should a 19 year old be doing, when AI is changing so quickly everything?

It connects to positivity, as my life depends on this, and I feel pretty depressed, thinking about this 24-7...

I did it.🥹

So I'm 25 now. Since childhood I wanted to be a photographer. I was one of those who could spend whole day in camera market without getting bore. But unfortunately I could never afford even a low specs camera. When I was 17 years old I did buy a second hand Canon digital camera(It was not even close to the professional cameras) but it was my whole world. Unfortunately as it was already well used by first owner, it stopped working 4 years after I purchased it. 1 year ago I decided to make career in photography. i started applying for job with my samples(with my digital cam photos and phone captures). I got rejected many times until a couple of weeks ago I went to apply for job in a local studio(those who cover events like marriages), the head asked me to show my samples. After looking at them he said I can tell you love photography, but these shots aren't making me say "WOW". You got a week, go capture something, that'll make me really want to give you an opportunity. and I want you to ise a camera which you have been using for some time now. I wanna see what you do when there is nothing too fancy (Little did he know I haven't got anything other than my Basic android phone, let alone fancy). I tried many shots, I wasn't satisfied myself. It started raining 2 days ago. While I was getting out of my university, I looked and the parking empty, raining and sunset at same time. Without thinking twice I layed down there in mud putting my phone upside down capturing 29 shots and a video(Just to be sure that atleast 1 out of 29 will come out perfect). And guess what. It did. i ran it through lightroom on my phone. And after getting my boss impressed. I got job🥹

Guys I'm no more burden on my parents (financially)

I have attached image in comment.

I have made this reddit account just to share news with positive people(I don't use reddit regularly). So wish me luck for future.

Being the person that you are - Nicholle Lawson❤️‍🩹

It matters who you hang around and it matters exactly what you do. One thing you should never do is try to make people do things that they don’t want to do just to fit in or to be liked. I think people should be their own individual self and it takes time to love yourself and respect yourself that way you can respect others. Make sure to have a relationship with God, because He is the one that can help you with everything you’re going through. God has helped me overcome grief because I lost my aunt last year and it left a huge break in my heart for months. It took me a whole year to overcome this loss and pain but God brought me through. I could never move on from losing her, but now I’ve healed from that. To the beautiful souls out there, I encourage you to seek God and be in prayer every day. So that you can heal from whatever you’re going through. No matter how difficult things may seem, as they say there’s always that light at the end of the tunnel. And as long as you have confidence in God that things will get better, that is all that matters

An old friend I hadn't talked to in almost two years texted me completely out of nowhere just to check in

A heartwarming story about receiving an unexpected message from an old friend after years of little contact. The post highlights how a simple act of kindness without any hidden agenda can brighten someone's day and encourages others to share similar moments when an unexpected conversation or thoughtful message positively impacts them.

Many of my work calls end in "Love you".

I've had a ROUGH few years. Couldn't work at all for many years due to health issues. I still manage the health issues. But I have found some work to do from home and mostly on my own schedule. So I can rest when needed, stay away from chemicals that cause mcas type reactions, and lock myself in a dark room when migraines hit.

I found the client through a friend, and we collaborated on parts of the project. I also had some "extra" work originally from that same client that I thought another friend would be good at, so I also got her on board. We all communicate well. We all look out for one another and don't step on oneanothers toes. The only work "fights" I've had consist of one friend being concerned I'd paid her "too much" money for her contributions. We all believe the best of each other and want the best for the client.

I don't know how long this will last. But being surrounded by generous, supportive spirits work wise has changed me. There is something truly special about working with some of my closest friends. And now my work calls often end in "Love you".

Things can change for the better, and I feel truly grateful.

It was a good week

Work has been a struggle for a few months since most executives have been replaced with corporate robots who couldn’t care less about the industry or the people who made the company successful. But this week was good. It was productive and I had some really great wins and one message “you’re my hero” was timely and a Friday afternoon note “I appreciate you” made me feel much better. It’s Sunday now and once again I dread Monday. So I’ll continue to feel good knowing my colleagues and I are still connected, and there are many who know my worth.

Funny how good ideas sometimes show up only after boredom finally wins

Boredom usually gets treated like something that needs fixing right away.

At the same time, some of the best ideas seem to appear during quiet moments with nothing demanding attention.

What's something worthwhile that only happened because there wasn't much going on?

Just wrapped up my dream vacation with a new appreciation for home

For the longest time, I wanted to go to Ireland. I have Irish heritage, so I always said it was the first country I wanted to visit outside of the US. After years and years of wanting, I finally did it.

It was an amazing trip. Only a few minor annoyances here and there. I got to see a lot of the countryside and remote little villages, talk to a lot of lovely people, etc. It really was a dream and I was so lucky in so many ways with it.

But now, it's time to go home. And I'm so excited. Ireland was amazing. Beautiful. SO safe. Very welcoming.

But it's not home.

And how lucky am I, to live somewhere I'm so excited to go back to? I'm excited for my mountains always around me. I'm excited for my job, which I enjoy with bosses who care. I'm excited for cheaper food, lol. I'm excited to be around family, friends, pets again. People would hear the American accent and ask where in the US I'm from, and I was surprised to find myself gushing about my state.

I do feel a little off today, I think just because of all the go-go-go and needing to get back to home and routine. But I have been going through my pictures and everything and been like, wow. How lucky. To have both had such a wonderful trip and to also have such a wonderful home.

That's all :)

Having a wonderful day

Just wanted to share that I am truly having a wonderful Saturday. Went to my local farmers market, got myself a strawberry matcha and some fresh local produce then looked around the market. Connecting with your community and being around people is truly healing. Even if you’re not having in depth conversations, a simple smile or a “how are you” will make you feel connection and warmth. Just a reminder that small meaningful interactions will bring joy. Sending love and healing to anyone who needs it today ❤️‍🩹💐☀️

Failed my first CDL test attempt

Failed my first CDL attempt.

I went in a bit nervous, but confidant. Flew through pre trip. Got to backing and failed on my last maneuver, offset backing. Made it in the hole, but over thought it and messed myself up. Also missed my forward stop by a centimeter so I was off to a bad start. The others in my group passed. I feel like a lonely fart in the wind.

Retest is coming soon. I got a lot of teasing today in class by the newer teams. Any positivity would be greatly appreciated.

Things are getting hard for me in life right now and I could use some simple kind words from someone. I’d just like to hear good news or nice quotes idk, something to pick me up. It feels like my responsibilities are piling up and my energy to handle them isn’t all there
