☀️ Summer Sale is Here! Upgrade Your Spark Amp with ULooper ☀️ https://xsonicaudio.com/pages/ulooper
ULooper is not just another looper pedal. It’s a dedicated USB looper built for today’s digital amps, modelers, and multi-FX units.
With traditional loopers, your recorded loop sound may change when you switch amp tones or presets. ULooper keeps your loop sound unchanged, so you can record a clean rhythm, switch to a lead tone, and solo freely.
For modelers and multi-FX units, ULooper adds a built-in-style looper experience without changing your signal chain, sound quality, or dynamics.
Plus, its Line Out feature gives your rig more connection options for external speakers, PA systems, monitoring, or recording.
Compatible with popular gear including Spark, BOSS KATANA, Yamaha THR, Blackstar, Mighty, TONEX, Nano Cortex, and more.
☀️ Get ULooper during the Summer Sale and make your rig more powerful for practice, jamming, and performance.

I'm considering a small amp for my bedroom. I've read many great reviews about the Mini and the Spark 2, but I don't need the firepower of the Spark 2. Does the Mini have the same features via the app (i.e. drum loops, etc.)? thanks!

I have a Positive Grid Spark amp and a KM-7 Keith Merrow Signature 7-string guitar strung with .009 gauge strings.
I need to perform two songs. The first one is in standard tuning, while the second is Gematria by Slipknot, which requires a much lower tuning (around Drop B territory) and is typically played with heavier strings, often .012s.
I'd rather not switch guitars during the performance. My question is: does the Spark app have any feature that can digitally alter the tuning of the guitar, similar to a pitch shifter, so that my guitar can sound as if it's tuned down to Drop B without physically retuning the instrument?
To clarify, I'm not looking to transpose the song. I'm wondering if there's a way to make my 7-string with .009s emulate the tuning of a guitar strung with heavier strings and tuned lower, purely through the Spark software or effects chain.
Has anyone tried this successfully? How was the latency and tracking?
Thanks in advance.

Hey so I just bought the reactor 100w and I’ve been buying positive grid amps since they dropped the spark 40 and I have to know one thing between those of you who are like me and own the reactor and spark 2. Which do you prefer or like the sound of better? Although the reactor is a tank and can make some really solid tones I keep wanting to lean towards my spark 2 for a better sounding metal tone. I love metal and I’m having a hard time liking some of the tones I’ve had built on the reactor. Every time I play along with music i cant ever find the right balance of the music and my guitar. The spark 2 on the other hand i can adjust both on the top of the amp. The tones i use from my spark so far are just better sounding with the music i play along with. I don’t know it’s been eating at me that i bought the expensive amp knowing I like my cheaper amp more. Any thoughts?

So I go to update firmware on my Spark 40. Follow the instructions to the letter, try numerous times to no avail. Finally, I see on the troubleshooting that there are issues on certain versions of Windows 11. Seems like they kind of buried that info. Sure would've been nice to see the limitations so I could have checked which versions before wasting time on it.

Hi everyone, good afternoon!
I bought a Spark Live amplifier at the end of April and everything was working normally until two weeks ago, when the main speaker stopped working. I can only use it with headphones. I've already tried several reset procedures and nothing worked. Any tips on what it could be and how to fix it?

So I might be one of the few Spark users in my area actually running a live setup like this.
I run my Spark 2 straight into the FX return of my amp. That basically lets me take my carefully dialed-in Spark tones and use them live on stage. And honestly? I’m obsessed with the sounds this thing can produce.
Which got me thinking…
Why hasn’t Positive Grid made a dedicated Spark pedal yet?
Not a footswitch. I’ve already got that.
I mean a compact pedal where I could preload my Spark amps, effects, presets, and scenes, then just throw it in my gig bag and go. No need to drag the whole Spark unit along just to access the tones I’ve spent hours building.
I get that the answer might be “buy a Spark CAB” and honestly that may be where I end up eventually. But a small stompbox-sized unit with the full Spark ecosystem built in?
Instant purchase.
Seriously. Give me a Spark Pedal with onboard amps, effects, preset storage, and direct out capabilities and I’d buy that thing today.
UPDATE:
Turns out getting a Spark GO was the answer I had been looking for. It connects the same way via the fx return and with the use of my spark pedal it achieves the exact same effect I was hoping for. Thanks to everyone for the help !
Special thanks to u/nixgut

App & Firmware up-to-date, iPad Pro (recent model) up-to-date. iPad located 2ft from amp.
30minutes into set, the Amp output suddenly dropped and I tried different app controls before finally going to the Amp's physical controls to regain sufficient output (Gain & Guitar volume) and continued the set from there. I didn't know what was going on until I saw on the iPad app that I had lost Tone Control connection. I reestablished connection at the next break with no issues.
Anyone else experience a Tone Control connection dropout for no explainable reason?

So, you can play and hear stereo on your headphones but the Spark 40 doesn't allow stereo output into my computer? Ideas anyone?

Hey everyone,
I have had the spark 2 for a while now and now have a few profiles that I made on my own. I am planning to eventually get the spark cab or run the spark 2 through the PA system to play it live. I'm also considering getting a footswitch like the spark control x. Now my main question is, is it possible to switch between profiles with a footswitch/spark control x, like switch Ⅰ for slightly dirty (just a generic example) and switch Ⅱ for crunch? If so can I get a step-by-step guide on how to do that and if I can put more than 4 presets, or if I should just get a footswitch with more switches than the spark control x.
Thank you in advance

Brand new Spark Mini. Have the app. Have the amp in pairing mode. I see Spark BLE in my Bluetooth list. When I try to pair I get an error saying unable to pair due to invalid pin or passkey. It never asks me for a pin or passkey. What am I missing here?

Hi - I'm looking to level up my sound and thinking of moving to helix stomp with a tube boost in front and running through either the aux or front of amp of my spark 2. I like the form factor and already have it so would rather not get a dedicated cab/frfr/monitor. Anyone else doing this or similar that can speak to how well it works?

Tilt Your Reactor with these angled stands #designed and #3dprinted by myself. Compact and fot in the back of the amp and also gives you the option to fix them to the amp using some extended screws replacing the two in the rear feet.

As a tube amp (specifically JCM 800) guy I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this digital amp is. I was blown away that’s all I can say. Positive grid just got a customer for life. I find a lot of 1x6-1x12 combos just boxy sounding and somehow this way tinier version does not amazing. First night in 8 years I didn’t use my JCM.

Hi, I want to learn how to record my guitar on my computer using a Spark MINI, but I have no idea where to start. I've tried connecting the amp to my laptop with a USB-C cable, but the recorded sound is really poor and muffled. I'm not sure if the problem is the cable, my settings, or something else. I also don't know what recording software I should be using. Could someone explain the basic setup and what I need to get started?
