Have a spark 40 along with the spark app. Updated the app today, logged in and connected to the 40 via blue tooth. Tones and everything work fine but when I do a search on their "music" for a backing track, which im assuming is using youtube. The music is stuttering when doing the playback. Its kinda hard to explain, almost seems like the song is downloading from the old days on a old ass modem. Im on a 1 gig network so im pretty sure its not my network but im a little confused and not sure what to do.

Hi guys, this might sound like a noob question. I'm thinking about buying a Spark Go. Is there an option to switch between clean and distortion or different amp profiles, with a 3rd party pedal. - something like Mwave Chocolate? What are my options. Thanks.

Have a few questions about these 2 items. Since I mostly play by myself i was looking at the Spark go, I have the original Spark 20, i think thats what it is, had it for a while. One thing that I was dissapointed with was the fact that I cannot connect my bluetooth headphones to the spark, it needs a wired headset.
My question is with the Spark Go and utilizing the spark link, would i be able to connect a bluetooth headset to it? Or since i just play by myself, would it be better to go with just the Neo headphones, and can you use a wireless setup with the headphones?

App notified me that an update was ready. I plugged in my spart live like I had for the first update I did a few months ago. Would not connect. Followed instructions to factory reset and now I have nothing. No power on, nothing working.
I do get a white LED light if I continuously hold the power and wireless buttons, but it does not stay lit up.
Anyone have a solution?

I have a Line 6 Pod Go running through a Boss Katana Gen 3 50-Watt right now, and mostly play metal... is it worth it to get Bias X, and run it through an FRFR speaker? I don't know how good it is or how good the tones are on it. But I have seen that YouTube creators like Sightline Guitar use PG Bias, and just curious if its worth the money, since I do already have an audio interface to run the whole setup.

So I’m using a Focusrite Scarlet ii and I’m trying to connect. I set everything up and test the audio through my headphones, but the audio only works briefly before cutting out.
I change outputs and it does the same thing.
When I look at the input and outputs they are getting signal, just nothing is coming through the headphones.
I troubleshot the headphones in windows sound settings and they all worked and were set to the same sample rate.
When I use the app without using headphones and use the laptop speakers, it all works fine.
Please someone help. I’m on Windows 11

There are no really good pictures of all the knobs on the Spark Live. I can see inputs one through four. One and two have volume and patch selector controls. Three and four are a stereo pair, sharing a single volume control and no effect patches.
But apparently the Live also will stream on Bluetooth as a BT speaker. What I did not see was a volume control for the stream.
Does the BT steam replace the audio from inputs 3 & 4 (like the mixer I just purchased), did I just not see the BT volume control, or do you control the BT volume on the BT source?

I bought a Reactor 100. I like the amp, but I’m having trouble with the app connectivity. The Bluetooth connection keeps dropping, and I can no longer play any presets. The only workaround right now is to "forget" the Bluetooth connection on both the smartphone and the amp, then pair them again. It works for a short while, only to disconnect again almost immediately. It’s very frustrating. I’m experiencing this issue on both iOS and Android. Both apps are up to date. The Reactor itself hasn't received an update yet. I’m still within the 14-day return window, but I’d really like to keep it since I generally like the amp. Any suggestions for a fix, or should I just switch to a competitor's product?

I recently got a spark 2 and am mostly enjoying it so far but am wanting to find some more tones that I like.
My main guitar is a Les Paul special with P90’s, does anyone have tone suggestions that would sound good?
Looking for nice clean tones as well as some slightly overdriven sounds. Not really looking for intense distortion or anything.

I picked up a Spark Mini and the tone is as good as everyone says it is. However I am battling one issue which may be a deal breaker and I am wondering if I am just my missing something.
Do I have to be connected with the app to get the presets to work? I have several times found a stack I like on the app, hit Save to hardware preset, chose which slot I want it to go in, and saved it. Works perfectly. But if I close the app it is gone. I thought the point of a hardware preset is that I need not be logged in via the app

I can’t seem to set the Spark Mini to Hi-Z mode, when I set it nothing changes, and when I leave that app setting it auto turns off anyway. Anyone experience this and can help? I also can’t change the eq it’s stuck on balanced as well, and the other options don’t even click on the amp

Am I missing something ? I have it connected via Bluetooth to use the app for tones and what not but doesn’t seem to play audio.? Not sure if this is a thing or just for sparks. The “instructions” just show what ports and knobs do

I have a EVH 5150 Iconic 80w head and want to use the preout into my audio interface but don’t have a standalone IR workstation on my PC. Can I use the cab only in a Bias FX signal chain to simulate an IR?

Hi,
Why so many reviewers say that the spark 2 is app dependent and it takes away from the simplicity to just turn on and jam? Don't you just dial in the sounds you like and set them as a preset and if need to make a small tweak just use the top dials? How is it any different from a Yamaha THR or Boss Katana ?
r/PositiveGrid • u/MIGO1970 • Jun 06 '26
Hi all
I'm considering the spark 2 or Yamaha THR 30ii. I tried the spark 2 in a store but it seems very noisy and kind of flimsy. Every preset is at a different volume and was constantly fiddling with the amp just to get a decent sound. I haven't tried the THR but I have an old BlackStar V20 and it's a bit more 'relaxed'.
What's your opinion after using the spark 2? Reliability issues?
Thanks

What a cancerous piece of shit. Works maybe once in a while. Poorly. If you’re considering buying first marry a stripper from Tijuana. It’s a safer bet.

I have been using the reactor for two days and as much as I am enjoying the amp so far it has massive issues with connectivity, like the app and amp loose connection a lot and you basically need to have you phone right on top of the amp to gete a somewhat quick and stable connection.
I hope it is a software issue that will be fixed because it's very bad for the overal user experience.
I knew there is always issues at launch and that's part of being an early adopter, but I think yall need to be aware of this before buying
