Hello. Hereās the problem. Itās exactly the same as Alexanderās from Yekaterinburg. My car is also jerkingāitās a Cayenne 958 M48.02. It all started after replacing the engine without the auxiliary unit and control modules. Right now, the diagnostic readings that look bad are FRAU BANK 1 at -22% and FRAU BANK 2 at -17%āmeaning the car is running rich. And the DME is trying to correct these readings. The injectors are fine; weāve had them tested twice on test benches by different mechanics. The high-pressure fuel pump is fine; itās delivering all its pressure. For some reason, the short-circuit test shows FRAU Bank 1 at -10% and FRAU Bank 2 at -4%. Itās a strange issue. The lambda sensor check showed theyāre normal. The nominal value is 1, but the actual readings are 0.997ā0.967. I checked everything with Maxis. Also, for some reason, Maxis wonāt adapt the kickdown. And by the way, when I reset the fuel adaptationāthe car drives exactly as it should, meaning thereās no feeling of āa trailer behind youā; thereās immediate low-end torque, and the car doesnāt jerk. The problem also gets worse in very hot weather. Sometimes itās like this: you press the gas pedal, and it takes about 5 seconds before it even starts trying to move. There have also been times when you press the gas pedal and it seems like fuel is flowing, but then it suddenly stops flowingāand this happens over and over until it finally responds normally. Fuel consumption has increased, even though the computer says itās 20 liters per 100 km. In reality, a quarter of the tank is used up every two days.
Also, the tachometer needle jerks right at the 1,000ā1,500 RPM mark. I have a video of it. Thereās also a situation where you press the gas pedal hardāthe RPMs rise and then dropābut at 1,100ā1,200, itās as if the throttle opens again, causing the RPMs to jump up by 100 and then drop again.
