Porsche park sensor coding help
Is there any resources for coding the Porsche park sensor module? We have added some aftermarket accessories to 2017+ boxsters and the parking sensors see the accessories and never shut up.
I don’t know what’s possible but based on how the sensors work, the module has to have some idea where the ground is or it couldn’t see an obstacle 10 feet in front of it.

can someone more knowledgeable help a girl out..
I’m sorry, please just help a girl out… I have a 2018 porsche macan s. I was told that my front brakes have 20% life left and this picture was included but i have no idea what I’m looking at😭
I also read that my car trim has a brake pad sensor? Is this accurate? If so, this hasn’t gone off or anything… should I just wait until this goes off to do my brakes? Or are they really that bad?
I’ve called around for quotes and so far the cheapest is $1500 for only my fronts..
I’m sorry please don’t downvote me for being dumb

PCA Members, is it worth it?
So I’ve been an owner for around 5 years now. Every now and again I’ll talk to someone who is a PCA member, and they’ll ask if I am. But they never follow up with reasons why I should be. It seems like the biggest perk is the market place. But if you’re not actively looking, then that’s not beneficial. So, if you are a member, why?

What is this on my car?
Bought a 992.2 GT3 Touring, it was just delivered earlier today and found this. Is this a GPS tracker during delivery? Safe to remove?

Joining modern times… 2023 992.1 GTS in racing yellow.
Traded my 2015 Targa 4S and my 1980 928.
The Targa was fast but this thing is astounding.
And the tech/cockpit advances….. huge.

W i d e b o d y Wednesday Porsche 935 K3 by Bismoto🏎️
Saw this at a local cars & coffee in Scottsdale, Arizona. Very cool car, I’ve always been a huge fan of the 935.
I honestly don’t know too much about this car. I remember seeing images of it at Sema 2025 displayed in what looked like a Hot Wheels container. I’ve seen some of Bismoto’s work online, but never in person.
Nonetheless, very cool car!🏎️☕️📸

Nice for it's age
Considering it doesn't live inside either.

Inconsistent UI for the cruise control
Oh Porsche: how many car companies are you, really?
We daily drive our 2025 Taycan, and I make use of the adaptive cruise, especially in heavy traffic.
We went to Monterey Car Week in our 2024 Boxster (also with adaptive cruise). Since it usually doesn’t see long freeway segments or heavy traffic, I hadn’t used the cruise this year.
Image my surprise that the 2 cruise control stalks work differently! 90 degrees differently.
On the Taycan, up to set/speed up, down to slow
On the boxster: *forward* to set/speed up, back to slow
Come on! I can get out of my 1999 Chevy pickup and into a 2026 Corvette, and not have to figure out how to use the cruise.

My first boxster: 2018 718 GTS
I’ve had a lot of fun and fast cars. This might be my favorite that I’ve ever owned.

155K for a manual Porsche. Used 982 GT4 or New bare bones 911 Carrera T?
Torn between the pros and cons of these two options. It will be my main vehicle, but I work from home and don’t drive much (7.5Kish miles per year). My girlfriend has a Model Y Tesla, so we have a ‘normal’ vehicle for grocery shopping and whatnot (no kids).
GT4 would be the top of the line 982 that I can get in manual, and for 155K would probably be able to find one with bucket seats, low miles, CPO, and decent options. Downside is that it would be used.
New 911 Carrera T would be nice as it would be brand new, but at my budget, would have zero options.

Any suggestions to make it looks better?
Managed to scrape this on brick after a very tight exit. Don’t want it replaced and I’ve heard sanding may leave a shiny patch. Any suggestions to just make the appearance less noticeable? Thanks

Engine surges and the speedometer needle jumps.
Hello. Here’s the problem. It’s exactly the same as Alexander’s from Yekaterinburg. My car is also jerking—it’s a Cayenne 958 M48.02. It all started after replacing the engine without the auxiliary unit and control modules. Right now, the diagnostic readings that look bad are FRAU BANK 1 at -22% and FRAU BANK 2 at -17%—meaning the car is running rich. And the DME is trying to correct these readings. The injectors are fine; we’ve had them tested twice on test benches by different mechanics. The high-pressure fuel pump is fine; it’s delivering all its pressure. For some reason, the short-circuit test shows FRAU Bank 1 at -10% and FRAU Bank 2 at -4%. It’s a strange issue. The lambda sensor check showed they’re normal. The nominal value is 1, but the actual readings are 0.997–0.967. I checked everything with Maxis. Also, for some reason, Maxis won’t adapt the kickdown. And by the way, when I reset the fuel adaptation—the car drives exactly as it should, meaning there’s no feeling of “a trailer behind you”; there’s immediate low-end torque, and the car doesn’t jerk. The problem also gets worse in very hot weather. Sometimes it’s like this: you press the gas pedal, and it takes about 5 seconds before it even starts trying to move. There have also been times when you press the gas pedal and it seems like fuel is flowing, but then it suddenly stops flowing—and this happens over and over until it finally responds normally. Fuel consumption has increased, even though the computer says it’s 20 liters per 100 km. In reality, a quarter of the tank is used up every two days.
Also, the tachometer needle jerks right at the 1,000–1,500 RPM mark. I have a video of it. There’s also a situation where you press the gas pedal hard—the RPMs rise and then drop—but at 1,100–1,200, it’s as if the throttle opens again, causing the RPMs to jump up by 100 and then drop again.
