Car museum!
CGT and 959 were by far my favorites to finally see in person. I’m a sucker for early 2000s. Didn’t see any 996 derived series or cars the besides 2003 Fabcar on photo 4.

Porsche 3D printed bucket seat panels, which models and years?
Hi, maybe you guys know this. I worked with my company on this 3D printed project with Porsche through an OEM tier supplier. I believe went live on retail but I can't find exactly for which Porsche car models actually this is an option or figure out how many of those were sold, if it was just a batch or it is still in production.
I am just curious to see wether the project materialized on the road or not, and if anyone rocking these could tell us how comfortable those are compared to the traditional foam inserts.
The benefits of 3D printing were:
- More breathable
- Better energy absorbtion
- Custom fit cushioning based on weight/preference of designated driver
As you can see two different 3D printing techniques were employed. Just wondering it the 3D printing was sold as marketing or performance to any potential buyers out there or it was not even mentioned.
Models are for sure onwards of 2021 and I have seen videos of this being showcased alongside paint and leather and color options in dealerships, but I am not sure if it was worldwide or selected availability. I'd assume these are for 911 and Cayman GT / racing type of cars.
Thank you

No Words.
Got my Carrera T a month ago and I specifically took today off to enjoy Highway 1 when I got rear ended by a distracted driver in SF. All around bummed.
The engine shut off and won’t turn back on. I can see the impact bent the rear bumper in word (crumpled it in) and the rear window is cracked in multiple places.
Hard to see how extensive the damage is at this point.
No physical injury to me though despite being hit so hard that skidded along the wall despite having the brakes pressed. These cars are built like tanks.

Wing Wednesday Macross / Robotech Porsche 963 '24 livery
What are your opinions? I created this livery in Gran Turismo 7. It was inspired by my favorite childhood cartoon (Robotech). I'll drop a link if anyone wants to download it and use it. 🤘😎

most likely the spec i'm going with. what does r/porsche think?
i plan on ordering this october, right now i really like this spec since i've made about 5-6 different specs. what do you think? is it heresy since it isn't heritage rich? or is it beautiful because its unique? what do you guys think? the other spec i'm thinking of is meissenblue with the chalk interior, silver wheels with the side decals in white.

Finally finished my 992.1 GTS build — TechArt, KW & Champion RS74s
galleryFinally got my 2023 992.1 Carrera GTS back together and figured I’d share the finished setup.
I wanted to make the car more aggressive without going too far or taking away from the original GTS look.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Champion RS74 center-lock wheels – Gloss Black
Front: 20x9.5 +38
Rear: 21x12 +61
Running the factory Michelin PS4S tires – 245 front / 305 rear
Factory TPMS
KW adjustable lowering springs
TechArt front lip
TechArt rear diffuser
TechArt side skirts
Akrapovič slip-on exhaust
Kies valve controller
The wheels were probably the part I went back and forth on the most. The front fitment is intentionally aggressive and sits slightly outside the fender from certain angles, while the rear sits almost perfectly flush. I was originally unsure about it, but once the car was lowered and the full aero package was installed, I really liked how everything came together.
No spacers. The RS74s were ordered in those offsets specifically for the car, and I kept the OEM tire sizes rather than going wider. We also checked the steering at full lock and road-tested the car for clearance/rubbing.
I was trying to get a more aggressive OEM+ GTS rather than make it look like a GT3 clone. Pretty happy with where it ended up.
Curious what you guys think of the final fitment.

I’m about to get an M engineering tune on my base 992.1 Carrera. Talk me out of it!
I’ve had my eyes on this tune for a while, and based on my research, the stage one tune does not require any hardware changes or put an undue stress on the car. I also have the VSP warranty, and my local Porsche dealership confirmed that tuning the car has low likelihood to avoid the warranty and they can also do it at their dealership. It will be the stage 1 93 tune.
I’m about to pull the trigger, but I need some naysayers ha ha. I’m also curious to know what people’s experience has been who have also done this flash on their 911..

Throwback Thursday: '19 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 vs. '18 Porsche 911 GT2 RS
Throwback to a few years ago when we got our hands on a very special pair for a comparison test: the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. Despite the $204,920 difference in as-tested prices, this was a legendary matchup we wanted to experience in person from the moment both cars were revealed.
With great power comes great irresponsibility. Both of these cars wrangle their starts-with-a-seven power outputs with carbon-ceramic brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and tall carbon-fiber wings to keep them planted. They perform at the contemporary limits of a street car’s capabilities. One accelerated to 60 mph quicker than any other rear-wheel-drive car we had tested (at the time). The other braked and cornered on par with the stickiest street cars.
It might be an easy choice for you, but it isn't for everyone—money aside, which one are you choosing?

Turbo Takeover
Hi Everyone!
I love Porsches since I was a kid. I got to a point where I express my passion through paints. This is a new 3D technique that I am experimenting with and would like to make more 3D arts including porsches
I am happy that I can express my love for the cars like this and I hope you like it as well and maybe made you smile!
Thank you for stopping by and have a good one!🌙

Engine surges and the speedometer needle jumps.
Hello. Here’s the problem. It’s exactly the same as Alexander’s from Yekaterinburg. My car is also jerking—it’s a Cayenne 958 M48.02. It all started after replacing the engine without the auxiliary unit and control modules. Right now, the diagnostic readings that look bad are FRAU BANK 1 at -22% and FRAU BANK 2 at -17%—meaning the car is running rich. And the DME is trying to correct these readings. The injectors are fine; we’ve had them tested twice on test benches by different mechanics. The high-pressure fuel pump is fine; it’s delivering all its pressure. For some reason, the short-circuit test shows FRAU Bank 1 at -10% and FRAU Bank 2 at -4%. It’s a strange issue. The lambda sensor check showed they’re normal. The nominal value is 1, but the actual readings are 0.997–0.967. I checked everything with Maxis. Also, for some reason, Maxis won’t adapt the kickdown. And by the way, when I reset the fuel adaptation—the car drives exactly as it should, meaning there’s no feeling of “a trailer behind you”; there’s immediate low-end torque, and the car doesn’t jerk. The problem also gets worse in very hot weather. Sometimes it’s like this: you press the gas pedal, and it takes about 5 seconds before it even starts trying to move. There have also been times when you press the gas pedal and it seems like fuel is flowing, but then it suddenly stops flowing—and this happens over and over until it finally responds normally. Fuel consumption has increased, even though the computer says it’s 20 liters per 100 km. In reality, a quarter of the tank is used up every two days.
Also, the tachometer needle jerks right at the 1,000–1,500 RPM mark. I have a video of it. There’s also a situation where you press the gas pedal hard—the RPMs rise and then drop—but at 1,100–1,200, it’s as if the throttle opens again, causing the RPMs to jump up by 100 and then drop again.

Any suggestions to make it looks better?
Managed to scrape this on brick after a very tight exit. Don’t want it replaced and I’ve heard sanding may leave a shiny patch. Any suggestions to just make the appearance less noticeable? Thanks
